Spread betting on the world's currency markets offers a fascinating

Spreadex's markets offer quotes on a range of currency pairs from
Eur/US$ to the £/Yen.
In each case you are placing a spread bet relating to the first named
currency of a pair.
So, for example, if you placed a spread bet on the £/US$ you would
'buy' on our quote if you felt the £ would strengthen or 'sell' if you
believed the £ would weaken.
Our futures prices are quoted on a quarterly basis while our spot
currencies expire each night at 20:00 GMT (although you have the
option to roll your bets).
