Euro equities continue to trade with strong gains

European equities continue to trade with strong gains after Eurozone finance ministers agreed on an aid disbursement for Greece. The mining sector led the FTSE up 70 points to well above the 6500 mark on Tuesday with the beaten-down sector recovering some of its losses it incurred over the last few months. US equities are likely to continue the gains after Alcoa kicked off the earnings season by reporting better than expected profit. Wall Street futures are indicating a 60 point higher open

The earnings calendar remains relatively subdued this week apart from Friday when JPMorgan and Wells Fargo are due to report their earnings. Gold climbed to the highest in almost a week after Chinese CPI data showed an increase In Chinese inflation spurring demand for the metal.
