The hosts clawed their way back from a 6-0 deficit to draw the series 8-8 and deny the visitors the comprehensive victory they had been seeking. Significantly, the defeat meant that Australia suffered a first one-day international series defeat since 2013 as England.

Nat Sciver-Brunt again starred with the bat for the hosts, this time in a winning cause, striking a second-straight hundred and fourth in her last five ODI meetings with Australia. For punters who decided to buy Sciver-Brunt’s run spread at 62 – 67, the make-up of 149 meant a winning return of 82x their stake!
