Justin Kluivert scored the first two penalties of the day for Bournemouth, setting himself on the way to a hat-trick from the spot, before Chris Wood scored his second penalty of the season to give Forest a 1-0 win at home over Ipswich.

In the late kick-off there were seven first half goals with Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka flawless from the spot for Arsenal as they beat London rivals West Ham 5-2.

England beating New Zealand over the weekend drew most of the cricketing attention over the weekend but South Africa skittled Sri Lanka for their lowest ever Test innings score at Kingsmead.

Chasing the Proteas’ first innings total of 191, Sri Lanka lasted just 13.5 overs in reply as they collapsed to 42 all out. Marco Jansen ripped through the tourists as he finished for figures of 7-13 with five Sri Lankan batsmen departing without scoring. Were it not for Kusal Mendis and Lahiru Kumara adding 23 runs between them, Sri Lanka would have fallen well short of the 42 runs they did manage to muster.

It was a record low total for the tourists and it was certainly a performance that caught our cricket spread betting traders out. Before their innings began, the Sri Lanka runs total was 228-243 as sellers cashed in with a win of 186x their stake.
