Daily Spread Betting Round-up
There was a big weekend of football in Scotland and England with results having huge ramifications at either end of the table. Alongside that, sports betting punters also had Graded action at Sandown, IPL cricket, and the World Snooker Championships to enjoy. We have scanned through the weekend’s results to find three big winning bets where our punters cashed in.
One of the most eagerly anticipated non-league matches of all time took place on Saturday as York City travelled to Rochdale needing a point to win the league and secure automatic promotion back to the Football League.
As the game headed into stoppage time, the score remained locked at 0-0, but both sides have made a habit of scoring late goals this season and Rochdale’s Mani Dieseruvwe headed home for the first goal of the game in the 95th minute. Cue pandemonium and a huge pitch invasion as the Dale fans thought they had done it. However, there was still time for a final twist in this most remarkable of National League seasons as Josh Stones bundled the ball home to equalise with the last kick of the match to send the travelling Minstermen into dreamland.
There were a couple of big winning bets in this match, but a buy on the 1st Match Goal Minute at 31-34 was handsomely rewarded. With goals coming in injury time settling at 90, buyers won a maximum win of 56x their stake.

Even by IPL standards, it was raining sixes in the Indian capital on Saturday as Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings put on a huge pyrotechnic display.
Opting to bat first, the Capitals set a target of 265, with KL Rahul and Nitish Rana scoring a combined 243 of those runs and all of Delhi’s 13 sixes. In response, Punjab flew out of the traps with the fall of Priyansh Aria in the final ball of the seventh over, seeing the scoreboard change to 126-1.
The Kings’ power hitting continued apace and they chased down their total with an over to spare, having gone as big as 10/1 in running to win the match. A sixes total of 33 across the match saw Sixes Squared settle at 1089, as buyers at 403-459 won 630x their stake.
The curtain came down on the Irish Premiership at the weekend, and it was raining goals in the spring sunshine. In the Championship section, Coleraine were one of three sides who had a chance of lifting the title alongside Glentoran and Laren. The Bannsiders hosted Glentoran, but their 6-2 win over their Belfast opponents was ultimately in vain as Larne secured a final day victory. The now four-time champions did in some style as well, beating Dungannon 8-0 in Antrim, with Linfield losing 2-1 to Cliftonville in a Belfast derby in the other match in the Championship group.
The other half of the table also saw plenty of goals, although there was nothing to play for with Glenavon already relegated, Carrick Rangers in the Conference League play-offs, and Crusaders guaranteed a berth in the relegation play-off. Unusually, all three matches were on track to finish 3-2, until Portadown’s James Teelan scored a 95th minute strike to give his side a 4-2 win away to Bangor.
Before kick-off, you could trade Total Goals across all six games at 17.1-17.7, but a deluge of strikes saw the market settle at 35, with buyers winning 17.3x their stake, a big winning bet in what is a fairly low-volatility market.
