Cristiano Ronaldo holds the record for scoring in the most consecutive UEFA Champions League games. The Portuguese forward scored in 11 successive games for Real Madrid across the 2017 and 2018 seasons. He scored 17 goals across that remarkable run, which began with a brace in the 2017 Champions League final against Juventus.
Harry Kane is closing in on Ronaldo’s record, having scored in ten consecutive matches dating back to January 2026. Here's a look at the longest scoring streaks in Champions League history, how Ronaldo set the record and when Kane could break it.

Cristiano Ronaldo currently holds the Champions League scoring streak record. The former Galactico is the Champions League’s all-time leading scorer, with 140, but perhaps his best spell came in 2017/18. Ronaldo scored a brace in the 2017 final to help defeat Juventus, before finding the net in all ten matches to start the 2018 edition which Madrid would also go on to win. In total, Ronaldo scored an incredible 17 goals in 11 straight matches.
The Bayern Munich forward is closing in on the record, with an impressive streak of ten consecutive matches to his name already. Kane netted twice against Union Saint-Gilloise back in January to kick off his streak, and has scored in every Champions League appearance since, including a penalty against Arsenal most recently. The England captain has 12 goals in total during this run.
Kane needs to score in his next match to draw level with Ronaldo, and will need one more on top to break his record. Bayern’s upcoming opponents are Atletico Madrid (3 November) and Lille (25 November).
Harry Kane is no stranger to breaking goalscoring records in the Champions League. He most recently broke Lionel Messi’s record for the most Champions League goals after turning 30, with 37 goals in 41 matches, compared to 35 in 48 matches for Messi. Kane will need to go toe to toe with another of European football’s all-time greats if he is to eclipse Ronaldo’s goal-scoring streak.
