Weekend's Big Winning Bets 10.11.25

head

There was plenty of online betting action on a busy sporting weekend and we have found three big winning bets where our spread betting punters filled their pockets.

Please remember Spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit. They may not be suitable for everyone so please ensure you fully understand the risks involved.

WALES v ARGENTINA – ARGENTINA TRIES SQUARED (SETTLED AT 49)

It is no secret that Welsh rugby union is at an incredibly low ebb, and the last year has seen the lingering threat of strike, an 18-game losing run, and Cardiff nearly go out of business altogether.

It is safe to say that hopes were not high ahead of the visit of Argentina this weekend, but Los Pumas showed no mercy as they ran out 52-28 winners in Cardiff. The visitors scored seven tries on their way to victory as Steve Tandy lost his first game in charge and Wales extended their losing run at home to ten matches.

Before the match, the Argentina Tries Squared rugby union spread betting market was priced at 18-22. However, an Argentine record try haul against the Welsh was just what buyers needed and with the spread settling at 49, they won 27x their stake.

ABU DHABI CHAMPIONSHIP – AARON RAI PLAYER PERFORMANCE (SETTLED AT 50)

Five years ago, Wolverhampton’s Aaron Rai triumphed in a playoff against Tommy Fleetwood to win the Scottish Open – his second European Tour trophy. Rai had to wait five years for his next, but at the weekend he once again defeated Tommy Fleetwood in a playoff, this time to secure victory in the Abu Dhabi Championship.

Our Player Performance golf spread betting market awards 200 points to the winner, 100 points to those finishing 2nd-10th, 50 points for those placed 11th-20th, and 25 points for those placed 21st-30th. Where applicable, the spread settles at -25 if your selected player misses the cut.

Before the Abu Dhabi Championship got underway, Rai’s Performance spread was 47-51, but with the spread settling at 200, buyers holed out with a win of 149x their stake.

PREMIER LEAGUE – HOMES/AWAYS (SETTLED AT 17)

It was a weekend for home comforts in the Premier League as none of the ten sides playing at home suffered defeat and seven of them recorded wins. Aston Villa were the biggest winners as they despatched Bournemouth 4-0, but there were big wins for Manchester City and Chelsea as well whilst Nottingham Forest secured their second league win of the season against Leeds.

One of our Premier League aggregate spread betting markets is Homes/Aways, which is the difference in the total number of goals scored by the sides at home compared to those by the away teams.

Before play got underway in the Saturday lunchtime kick off at Tottenham, the spread was available to trade at 1.8-2.8. However, with the home sides outscoring the away teams by 17 goals across the weekend, buyers won 14.2x their stake.

Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
