Can Leeds maintain their flawless start to 2018/19 when they travel to Swansea at 7.45pm on Sky Sports Football? Marcelo Bielsa seems to have worked wonders at Elland Road. The Argentine’s first major test came on opening day, a visit from last season’s Premier League losers Stoke, with Leeds eventually shattering the Potters, kicking things off with a 3-1 victory. That was followed up by a hefty 4-1 away win against Derby – complete with a brace from Kemar Roofe, who has a Super Mega PGM spread of 31-37 – and a 2-0 triumph against Rotherham on Saturday. They’ve even seen success outside the Championship, beating Bolton 2-1 in the EFL Cup to set up a 2nd round fixture against Preston. Though it might be early days yet, that kind of form leaves the Whites with a league-best Championship Points spread of 76.5-78.5, leaving them very much in the running for promotion back to the Premier League alongside the likes of Middlesbrough (at 76-78), Brentford (75-77), Aston Villa (at 73.5-75.5) and West Brom (at 72.5-74.5). As for Swansea, who are hoping to bounce straight back to the big leagues after last season’s relegation, they’ve looked decent, if not quite as good as Leeds. Their return to the Championship opened with a 2-1 win over Sheffield United, requiring an 85th minute goal from Yan Dhanda to do so, while they followed that up with a 1-0 victory over Preston. Last Friday then saw their least inspired result yet, a 0-0 draw against Birmingham that leaves them sitting just outside the promotion zone. With the best goal difference in the Championship so far, and a nice head of steam built up, the visitors look set to maintain their winning ways, Spreadex offering a Leeds/Swansea (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 0.15-0.35 alongside a Total Goals spread of 2.7-2.9.
