Spreadex Sports previews the upcoming 2025/26 EFL Cup semi-final 2nd leg fixture between Arsenal and Chelsea. The London rivals saw a hotly-contested first leg at Stamford Bridge end with Arsenal grabbing a 3-2 victory ahead of this one.
Will Mikel Arteta's side finish the job in front of their home fans and book their ticket in the Wembley final, or will Liam Rosenior mastermind another Chelsea comeback to flip the script and give himself a chance at his first silverware in charge of the Blues?
When is Arsenal v Chelsea?Tuesday, February 3rd 2026.
What time is kick-off for Arsenal v Chelsea?8pm, UK time.
Where is Arsenal v Chelsea being played? Emirates Stadium, London.
How can I watch Arsenal v Chelsea? Live on ITV from 8pm.
Both sides come into this one in confident mood and will fancy their chances in what is essentially a one-match-shootout for a place in a cup final. Arsenal bounced back from defeat to Man Utd with a win in the Champions League and a demolition of Leeds in the league which - coupled with other results - means the Gunners now have a six point buffer at the summit.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are on a run of five straight wins and overturned a 2-0 deficit to West Ham in their last outing to boost their hopes of a top-four finish. With both these sides looking strong in attacking areas but conceding a fair amount of goals in their recent contests, any prediction is difficult to ascertain, but Arsenal's first leg lead coupled with home advantage may prove enough.

The Spreadex Sports fixed odds Match Odds betting prices have Arsenal as 4/6 favourites to secure the victory (within 90 mins) while our 2 Up early pay out market, which pays out when a team goes two goals up, has the Gunners at 8/13.
Chelsea meanwhile are available at 15/4 for the away victory (17/5 on our 2 Up market), with the draw at 3/1.
Arsenal's first leg win continued their complete dominance in this H2H in recent times. The Gunners have now won seven of the last ten meetings, with three draws and no wins for the Blues!
The two most recent meetings have seen Both Teams Scoring, and you can back Both to Score - Yes at 4/6 here. Both to Score - No is available at 6/5. Six of the last ten meetings have seen Over 3.5 goals - you can back that here at 8/5.
In terms of outright 'To Qualify' odds, i.e to win either in normal time or extra time/penalties, Arsenal are 1/10 with Chelsea at 11/2.
Our football spread betting prices have the Goal Supremacy as Arsenal/Chelsea 0.75 - 0.95. This means if Arsenal won 3-1 (or by any other two goal margin), a 'buy' bet at 0.95 would mean a return of 1.05x your initial stake.
However, if you bought at 0.95 in Arsenal's favour and the match ended goalless, you would lose 0.95x your stake. Or, if Chelsea were to grab a 1-0 (or any other one goal margin) win, the market would settle negatively at -1 and a buy at 0.95 would result in a loss of 1.95x your opening stake.
You can calculate various make-ups by using our handy spread betting calculator, found here.
Our spread betting Total Goals line is 3 - 3.2. So a 3.2 'buy' bet would need at least four goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Conversely, a 3 sell bet would need less than three goals to be scored in the match to turn a profit.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. E.g. a 3.2 'buy' Total Goals bet would lose 3.2x your opening stake if the match ended 0-0, and so on.
We have several pre-built Popular Bet-Builders, including Viktor Gyokeres 3+ shots, Gabriel Martinelli 3+ shots & Noni Madueke 2+ shots - 16/5, Cole Palmer to score anytime, Joao Pedro to score anytime, Chelsea to win & Over 2.5 goals - 18/1, BTTS, Over 4.5 Arsenal corners & Over 4.5 Chelsea corners - 17/4 and much more!
Price Boosts for this one are live, and include Martin Odegaard 1+ Assist - NOW 3/1, Arsenal to Win the Tie on Penalties - NOW 14/1, Both Teams to Score a Header - NOW 12/1, Chelsea to Win 3-2 - NOW 40/1 and more!
