Arsenal will be looking to continue their perfect start in the Champions League on Tuesday night when they host Lille at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners came agonisingly close to winning their first-ever European title last season, eventually losing on penalties to PSG in the final. They will be hoping to go one better this time around, with another strong league-phase campaign potentially helping them secure a favourable route to the final.
Lille, meanwhile, arrive in London sitting second in Ligue 1, just one point off top spot. The French side will be keen to bounce back from their opening league-phase defeat, having lost 3-2 to Real Betis, and will be hoping to take something from a tough trip to the Emirates.

Arsenal are the favourites to win this fixture, priced at 2/9 on Spreadex’s fixed odds market (1/5 on our 2 Up early payout Match Odds market) with visitors Lille priced at 12/1 (10/1 on the 2 Up early payout market) and the draw at 11/2.
Arsenal opened their Champions League campaign with a 1-0 away victory over Napoli, with Martin Ødegaard scoring the only goal of the game. The Gunners will be hoping for a similar result against Lille on Tuesday night, with another 1-0 Arsenal win priced at 7/1.
Alternatively, if you’re expecting Arsenal to win without Lille getting on the scoresheet without picking an exact result, Arsenal To Win To Nil is available at 20/23.
Our football spread betting prices have Arsenal as the favourites with a Goal Supremacy quote of Arsenal/Lille 1.85 – 2.05. This means a 'buy' bet at 2.05 would need an Arsenal three goal win to start turning a profit (e.g. three goal win would win 0.95x your stake, four goal win would win 1.95x your stake etc.).
A 1.85 'sell' bet would need an Arsenal one goal win, draw or Lille win to turn a profit (e.g. a one goal Arsenal win would win 0.85x your stake, a draw would win 1.85x your stake and a one goal Lille win would win 2.85x your stake etc.).
Our spread betting Total Goals line is 3.15 – 3.35. So, a 3.35 'buy' bet would need at least four goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Conversely, a ‘3.15’ sell bet would need three goals or less to be scored in the match to turn a profit.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. E.g. a 3.35 'buy' Total Goals bet would lose 3.35x your stake if the match ended 0-0. In the 2.05 'buy' Supremacy bet example above, an Arsenal two goal win would lose 0.05x your stake, a one goal Arsenal win would lose 1.05x your stake, a draw would lose 2.05x your stake etc. And in the 1.85 'sell' Supremacy example above, the bet would lose 0.15x your stake on a two goal Arsenal win and 1.15x your stake on a three goal Arsenal win etc.
Price Boosts are typically available on the Spreadex website the day before the game, so it’s worth checking back closer to kick-off for enhanced odds. In addition, Spreadex also features ‘Popular Bet-Builders’, specially curated by their in-house pricing team to highlight fan-favourite betting combinations.
In Arsenal’s last Championship outing they beat Napoli 1-0 with Martin Ødegaard scoring the only goal of the game in the 75th minute. This meant that Arsenal Leading Minutes settled at 15. This time round Arsenal Leading Minutes has a spread of 45 – 48. This means that if Arsenal were only to lead in the game for 15 minutes again a ‘sell’ at 45 would win 30x your stake.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. So for example if Arsenal lead in the match for 70 minutes, a ‘sell’ at 45 would lose 25x times your stake.
