Spreadex Sports previews the upcoming 2025/26 Premier League fixture between Aston Villa v Man Utd. The Red Devils have had a topsy-turvy run of form, perhaps perfectly personified by their 4-4 draw with Bournemouth last time out, where the Utd led twice but still almost came away empty-handed.

Villa, meanwhile, have been one of the form teams this season and made a huge statement with a victory over leaders Arsenal recently. The Midlands side sit third, just three points off the top, and have won an incredible nine matches on the trot in all competitions.

Aston Villa v Man Utd betting FORM

The home side come into this one undoubtedly in the stronger form, with Unai Emery's side now on the cusp of winning 10 or more consecutive matches for the first time in over a century.

However, while recent results speak for themselves, there have been some doubts about the Villans' defence, with seven goals conceded in their last three league fixtures, although they still won all of those.

Ruben Amorim's side meanwhile are in a similar position of finding their shooting boots but being hampered by defensive issues, although results have been far from as strong and consistent as in Villa's case.

It has been a running trend of seemingly one step forward, one step back for the Red Devils of late, but a victory here would be a massive statement and boost Utd's top-four hopes.

The Spreadex Sports fixed odds Match Odds betting prices have Aston Villa as 21/20 favourites to secure a victory while our 2 Up early pay out market, which pays out when a team goes two goals up, has the Villans at 19/20.

Man Utd meanwhile are available at 23/10 for the away victory (21/10 on our 2 Up market), with the draw at 13/5.

Historically, the Red Devils hold a distinct edge and Villa have not lost to any other side as many times as they have to Utd in the history of this competition. H2H form of late is strongly in favour of Utd too, with the Red Devils winning four and drawing one of the last five.

Aston Villa v Man Utd FOOTBALL SPREAD BETTING PRICES

Our football spread betting prices have the Goal Supremacy as Aston Villa/Man Utd 0.3 - 0.5. This means if Villa won 3-1 (or by any other two goal margin), a 'buy' bet at 0.5 would mean a return of 1.5x your initial stake.

However, if you bought at 0.5 in Villa's favour and the match ended goalless, you would lose 0.5x your stake. Or, if Man Utd were to grab a 1-0 (or any other one goal margin) win, the market would settle negatively at -1 and a buy at 0.5 would result in a loss of 1.5x your opening stake.

You can calculate various make-ups by using our handy spread betting calculator, found here.

Our spread betting Total Goals line is 3 - 3.2. So a 3.2 'buy' bet would need at least four goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Conversely, a 3 sell bet would need less than three goals to be scored in the match to turn a profit.

Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. E.g. a 3.2 'buy' Total Goals bet would lose 3.2x your opening stake if the match ended 0-0, and so on.
