When ARE THE ATP FINALS?

The year-end tournament takes place in Turin, Italy once again from Sunday the 9th of November 2025 to Sunday the 16th November 2025.

While in the recent past the competition took place at London's 02 Arena, it has been played at Turin's Inalpi Arena, Italy's largest indoor sporting arena, since 2021.

Who IS PLAYING AT THE ATP FINALS?

With the top-8 ranked men's tennis players taking to the court in Turin, the confirmed field so far includes Italy's Jannik Sinner, who recently reclaimed his number one ranking, alongside Spain's Carlos Alcaraz, Serbia's Novak Djokovic, US pair Ben Shelton and Taylor Fritz, Australian Alex de Minaur and one of either Canadian Felix Auger Aliassime, or Italy's Lorenzo Musetti.

At the time of writing, Aliassime holds the final qualification spot, but Musetti is currently in the semi-finals of ATP Athens, and he will claim his ticket to Turin if he wins that tournament.

The two groups have been set, meaning we know who will face each other in the round-robin phase before the knockout round, with two players qualifying from each group:

Jimmy Connors Group: Carlos Alcaraz (1), Novak Djokovic (4), Taylor Fritz (6), Alex de Minaur (7)

Bjorn Borg Group: Jannik Sinner (2), Alexander Zverev (3), Ben Shelton (5), Felix Auger-Aliassime or Lorenzo Musetti (8)

Aside from the singles players, the top-8 doubles sides that will be playing are split into the two following groups:

Peter Fleming Group: Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool (1), Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos (3), Kevin Krawietz and Tim Puetz (6), Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori (7)

John McEnroe Group: Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten (2), Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic (4), Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski(5), Christian Harrison and Evan King (8)

WhAT IS THE PRIZE MONEY FOR THE ATP FINALS?

The ATP Finals are extremely lucrative for participants, with the prestigious season finale this year featuring an event record $15.5 million in total prize money.

An undefeated champion at the Finals will walk away with an eye-watering record $5,071,000, the richest payout in the event’s history.

As per the ATP, here is a breakdown of the prize money on offer:

HOW DO YOU QUALIFY FOR THE ATP FINALS?

Participants at the Finals achieve qualification by earning ranking points throughout the calendar year from the various tournaments played during the season. For instance, world number one Jannik Sinner has amassed 11,500 ranking points. Players receive ranking points based on their performance in an individual competition and how far they get in that competition.

For example, the four Grand Slams offer the most maximum ranking points for the winner - 2000 - but a runner-up would receive 1300, semi-finalists receiving 800 and so on. The same applies for tournaments in the Masters 1000 group, ATP 500, ATP 250 or Challenger events, with the amount of ranking points achieved differing based on player performance.

As such, with the minimum amount of points required for qualifying for the Finals this year standing at nearly 4000 points, it is a true indication of a player being deserving of their spot at the top table for consistent top-level performance during the season.
