How to watch Bayer Leverkusen v ArsenalLive on TNT Sports 2.
Bayer Leverkusen come into this match on mixed form, beating Olympiacos fairly comfortably in their Champions League play-off after finishing 16th in the league phase. Kasper Hjulmand’s side have only won once in their last five matches in all competitions and face the daunting prospect of an Arsenal side who are unbeaten in eleven games in all competitions. Can Leverkusen rediscover their best form on Wednesday?

Arsenal will head to Germany full of confidence after starting their Champions League campaign in dominant fashion. The Gunners won all of their matches during the league phase and only conceded four goals in the eight games. Their league form is also very strong, having won three on the bounce after a blip against bottom-placed Wolves. Mikel Arteta’s side’s quest for silverware looks to be headed in the right direction, but a tough test against Leverkusen stands in their way.

Visitors Arsenal are understandably the favourites in this one after their unbeaten run during the league phase of the competition. You can back them to win the match at 6/11, or at 8/15 in our 2 Up market which pays out if your team goes ahead by two goals. Leverkusen will be the underdogs, priced at 24/5 to win the first leg or at 17/4 in our 2 Up market. If you’re expecting a draw, you can back the sides to finish all square at 3/1.

We also offer a number of spread betting markets for Wednesday’s clash, including our “Goal Supremacy” market. This market currently has Leverkusen as favourites, with the hosts favoured by 0.95-1.15 goals. This means that if you placed a “buy” bet, you would need Arsenal to win by at least two goals to start turning a profit, and if you sold, you would need Leverkusen to win or draw. If you bought, a two-goal victory for Arsenal would win you 0.85 times your stake, a three-goal victory 1.85 times your stake, and so on.
However, if you bought and Arsenal lost or drew, you would lose money. Here, a one-goal loss would cost you 2.15 times your stake, a two-goal loss 3.15 times your stake, etc.
You can also bet on the total number of goals scored during the game with our Total Goals market. This is currently set at 2.65-2.85. If you’re expecting plenty of goalmouth action, you would “buy” and would need at least three total goals to turn a profit. Alternatively, if you expect a low-scoring affair, you could “sell” and would need fewer than two goals to turn a profit.
If you sold and the game ended 1-0, you would win 1.65 times your stake. However, if you sold and the game ended 4-2, you would lose 3.35 times your stake. It’s important to remember that when spread betting, if your bet loses, you can lose multiples of your stake, so be sure to choose appropriate stake sizes for each market.
