Belgium v Egypt BETTING FORM

In-form Belgium will look to kick off their World Cup campaign in strong fashion when they take on African side Egypt in Seattle, and the Red Devils will be very strong favourites in a group that also contains Iran and New Zealand.

Riding a 13-match unbeaten run including 9 wins, Roberto Martinez's side still possess plenty of talent in their squad with the likes of Thibaut Courtois, Kevin de Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku, Jeremy Doku and Leandro Trossard.

Egypt will be pinning their hopes on their strong attacking talent with the likes of their talismanic forward Mohamed Salah and Man City's Omar Marmoush and have faced the likes of Spain and Brazil in their warm-up fixtures, which should serve them well when taking on another quality side here.

WHAT ARE THE BEST ODDS ON Belgium v Egypt?

Belgium come into the match as strong favourites for their first group game, currently priced at 13/20 to win. You can also back them at 8/13 in our 2-Up Early Payout market which pays out if your team goes up by two goals during the game.

Egypt are the clear underdogs, and you can back them at 17/4 to win, or at 15/4 in our 2-Up market.

If you fancy backing the draw, this is available at 14/5.

These two sides have met four times before and interestingly Egypt have had the better of the H2H, winning three, with Belgium winning one.

Belgium v Egypt FOOTBALL SPREAD BETTING PRICES

We also offer a number of spread betting markets for this clash, including our Goal Supremacy market. This market currently has Belgium favoured by 0.8 - 1 goal. This means that if you placed a “buy” bet, you would need Belgium to win by two goals or more to start turning a profit. A three-goal victory for Belgium would win you 2x your stake, a four-goal win 3x your stake, and so on.

However, if you bought and Belgium drew or lost, you would lose money. Here, a one-goal loss would cost you 2x your stake, a three-goal loss 3x your stake, etc. A draw would lose you 1x your stake on buy bets.

You can also bet on the total number of goals scored during the game with our Total Goals market. This is currently set at 2.55 - 2.75. If you’re expecting a high-scoring game, you would “buy” and would need at least three total goals to turn a profit. Alternatively, if you expect a low-scoring affair, you could “sell” and would need two goals or fewer to turn a profit.

If you sold and the game ended 1-0, you would win 1.55x your stake. However, if you sold and the game ended 4-2, you would lose 3.25x your stake. It’s important to remember that when spread betting, if your bet loses, you can lose multiples of your stake, so be sure to choose appropriate stake sizes for each market.
