LOSS: Everton, 3-0 21st March 2026

Manchester City come into this tie off the back of a dominant win against current Premier League holders Liverpool in the FA Cup. Erling Haaland grabbed a hat trick; and City’s defence looks stronger with clean sheets in their last two games against tough opposition. If City’s title hopes are to be kept alive, nothing less than a win will suit them on their trip to the capital this weekend.

Our football spread betting prices have the Supremacy as Man City / Chelsea (h) at 0.25–0.45. This means a ‘buy’ bet at 0.45 would need Manchester City to win by one goal to start turning a profit (e.g. a one-goal win would win 0.55× your stake, a two-goal win 1.55× your stake, a three-goal win 2.55× your stake, etc.).
A 0.25 ‘sell’ bet would need either a draw, or Chelsea to win, to turn a profit (e.g. a draw would win 0.25× your stake, and a Chelsea win by one goal would win 1.25× your stake, etc.).
Our spread betting Total Goals line is 3.2–3.4. This means a 3.4 ‘buy’ bet would need at least four goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Conversely, a 3.2 ‘sell’ bet would need three goals or fewer to be scored in the match to turn a profit (four goals would result in a small loss of 0.8× your stake).
Remember that with spread betting, if you get the bet wrong, losses can exceed your stake/deposit. For example, a 3.4 ‘buy’ Total Goals bet would lose 3.4× your stake if the match ended 0–0. In the 0.45 ‘buy’ Supremacy bet example above, if the game ended a draw, the bet would lose 0.45× your stake. If Chelsea won by one goal, then it would lose 1.45× your stake, etc. And in the 0.25 ‘sell’ Supremacy example above, the bet would lose 0.75× your stake on a 1–0 Manchester City win, 1.75× your stake on a 2–0 Manchester City win, etc.
