Chelsea v Man Utd betting FORM

Liam Rosenior's Chelsea side have hit a run of poor form which have left their top four (or even top five) hopes hanging by a thread, sitting four points off fifth-placed Liverpool and seven points off Man Utd in third. A run of three consecutive league losses without even scoring a goal will need to be addressed here quickly, or the Blues will likely be resigned to a hugely disappointing end to their season.

Man Utd are still in a good position sitting in third, albeit their gap to fifth is now only three points. Michael Carrick's side have only won two of their last five matches as the business end of the season approaches, and it will be important for the Red Devils to refocus and return to winning ways as they look to finish their season with the achievement of Champions League football for next season.

Chelsea v Man Utd FOOTBALL SPREAD BETTING PRICES

Our football spread betting prices have the Goal Supremacy as Chelsea/Man Utd 0.2 - 0.4. This means if Chelsea won 3-0 (or by any other three goal margin), a 'buy' bet at 0.4 would mean a return of 2.6x your initial stake.

However, if you bought at 0.4 in Chelsea's favour and the match ended goalless, you would lose 0.4x your stake. Or, if Man Utd were to grab a 2-1 (or any other one goal margin) win, the market would settle negatively at -1 and a buy at 0.4 would result in a loss of 1.4x your opening stake.

You can calculate various make-ups by using our handy spread betting calculator, found here.

Our spread betting Total Goals line is 3.2 - 3.4. So a 3.4 'buy' bet would need at least four goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Conversely, a 3.2 sell bet would need less than three goals to be scored in the match to turn a profit.

Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. E.g. a 3.4 'buy' Total Goals bet would lose 3.4x your opening stake if the match ended 0-0, and so on.
