Crystal Palace are a club in turmoil at the moment. The departure of defensive stalwart Mark Guehi to Manchester City was coupled with Oliver Glasner announcing his departure at the end of the season, and then compounded by centre forward Jean-Philippe Mateta expressing his desire to leave the club. Palace haven’t won a game in all competitions since early December, with a shocking loss to Macclesfield forcing them to give up their FA Cup crown. It’s been a shocking fall for a club which had a strong 2024/25 season. Can they get back on track on Sunday?

Chelsea scraped through their Champions League tie with Pafos on Wednesday, but will be hoping for a better showing this weekend. Liam Rosenior’s side have had solid results since he took over, with their only loss of his tenure being an exciting 3-2 defeat to league leaders Arsenal in the EFL Cup. The Blues have enjoyed good performances from their midfield duo of Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez, and will be relieved that Cole Palmer is back fit and firing. How will they fare this weekend?

Hosts Palace are the underdogs, with Oliver Glasner’s side’s last home win in the Premier League coming all the way back on November 1st. You can back them to win the match at 5/2, or at 11/5 in our 2 Up Market. You can back a draw at 27/10.

We also offer a number of spread betting markets for Sunday’s clash, including our “Goal Supremacy” market. This market currently has Chelsea as favourites, with the Blues favoured by 0.4-0.6 goals. This means that if you placed a “buy” bet, you would need Chelsea to win to start turning a profit, and if you sold, you would need Crystal Palace to win or draw. If you bought, a one-goal victory for Chelsea would win you 0.4 times your stake, a two-goal victory 1.4 times your stake, and so on.
However, if you bought and Chelsea lost or drew the game, you would lose money. Here, a one-goal loss would cost you 1.6 times your stake, a two-goal loss 2.6 times your stake, etc.
You can also bet on the total number of goals scored during the game with our Total Goals market. This is currently set at 2.85-3.05. If you’re expecting plenty of goalmouth action, you would “buy” and would need at least four total goals to turn a profit. Alternatively, if you expect a low-scoring affair, you could “sell” and would need two goals or fewer to turn a profit.
If you sold and the game ended 1-0, you would win 1.85 times your stake. However, if you sold and the game ended 4-2 you would lose 3.15 times your stake. It’s important to remember that when spread betting, if your bet loses, you can lose multiples of your stake, so be sure to choose appropriate stake sizes for each market.
