Our football spread betting prices have the Supremacy as Man City / Crystal Palace (h) at 0.85–1.05. This means a ‘buy’ bet at 1.05 would need Manchester City to win by two goals to start turning a profit (e.g. a two-goal win would win 0.95× your stake, a three-goal win 1.95× your stake, a four-goal win 2.95× your stake, etc.).

A 0.85 ‘sell’ bet would need either a draw, or Crystal Palace to win, to turn a profit (e.g. a draw would win 0.85× your stake, and a Crystal Palace win by one goal would win 1.85× your stake, etc.).

Our spread betting Total Goals line is 2.95–3.15. This means a 3.15 ‘buy’ bet would need at least four goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit (three goals would result in a small loss of 0.15× your stake, while four goals would return a profit of 0.85× your stake). Conversely, a 2.95 ‘sell’ bet would need two goals or fewer to be scored in the match to turn a profit (three goals would result in a small loss of 0.05× your stake).

Remember that with spread betting, if you get the bet wrong, losses can exceed your stake/deposit. For example, a 3.15 ‘buy’ Total Goals bet would lose 3.15× your stake if the match ended 0–0. In the 1.05 ‘buy’ Supremacy bet example above, if the game ended a draw, the bet would lose 1.05× your stake. If Crystal Palace won by one goal, then it would lose 2.05× your stake, etc. And in the 0.85 ‘sell’ Supremacy example above, the bet would lose 0.15× your stake on a 1–0 Manchester City win, 1.15× your stake on a 2–0 Manchester City win, etc.
