England v Japan betting FORM

Both of these sides have been in generally excellent international form, with England having won eight and drawn one of their last ten matches, qualifying for the World Cup with a perfect run of victories in all of their competitive group matches.

In fact, the Three Lions produced an incredible defensive performance of conceding zero goals in their eight qualifiers, while scoring 22. However, Thomas Tuchel's side conceded a last minute penalty last time out as Uruguay claimed a draw at Wembley.

Japan, meanwhile, have won seven and drawn two of their last ten, and have had six clean sheets in that run. Aside from their victory over Scotland, the Asian outfit have also scored a notable victory over giants Brazil, but their lone defeat in that run of ten matches came against World Cup co-hosts USA.

Which side will be able to continue recent winning momentum here?

England v Japan FOOTBALL SPREAD BETTING PRICES

Our football spread betting prices have the Goal Supremacy as England/Japan 1 - 1.2. This means if England won 3-0 (or by any other three goal margin), a 'buy' bet at 1.2 would mean a return of 1.8x your initial stake.

However, if you bought at 1.2 in England's favour and the match ended goalless, you would lose 1.2x your stake. Or, if Japan were to grab a 2-1 (or any other one goal margin) win, the market would settle negatively at -1 and a buy at 1.2 would result in a loss of 2.2x your opening stake.

You can calculate various make-ups by using our handy spread betting calculator, found here.

Our spread betting Total Goals line is 2.65 - 2.85. So a 2.85 'buy' bet would need at least three goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Conversely, a 2.65 sell bet would need less than three goals to be scored in the match to turn a profit.

Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. E.g. a 2.85 'buy' Total Goals bet would lose 2.85x your opening stake if the match ended 0-0, and so on.
