Fiorentina v Crystal Palace betting form

Crystal Palace are in the driving seat for this UEFA Conference League quarter-final second leg after seeing off Fiorentina 3-0 in the first leg at Selhurst Park.

That game saw first-half goals from Jean-Phillipe Mateta (from the penalty spot) and Tyrick Mitchell, followed up with a 90th minute third from Ismaila Sarr give the Eagles a commanding lead to take to Italy.

In the Premier League, Oliver Glasner’s men sit comfortably in 13th position with just one defeat in their last five, meaning they are free to concentrate fully on securing progression to the last four.

CRYSTAL PALACE PREMIER LEAGUE FORM

WIN: Crystal Palace 2-1 Newcastle. Sunday 8th March 2026.

DRAW: Crystal Palace 0-0 Leeds United. Sunday 15th March 2026.

WIN: Tottenham 1-3 Crystal Palace. Thursday 5th March 2026.

LOSS: Manchester United 2-1 Crystal Palace. Sunday 1st March 2026.

Fiorentina – two times Conference League finalists in 2023 and 204 – sit in a lowly 15th position in Seria A, but have improved their league form of late with just one defeat in their last nine.

Most of The Viola’s problems stem from the start of the season, where their first league win didn’t arrive, quite remarkably, until December 21st!

That run saw the sacking of then manager Stefano Pioli, who was replaced by current boss Paolo Vanoli at the beginning of November.

Since then, Fiorentina have slowly turned their fortunes around but seemingly face an uphill task to overturn their three goal first leg deficit against Palace.

Fiorentina v Crystal Palace  football spread betting prices

The Spreadex Sports Goal Supremacy spread betting price for this one can’t split the teams, offering a ‘choice’ price of Fiorentina/Palace -0.1 – 0.1.

This means that the mid-point of the spread is exactly on 0 (i.e. the game being a draw). So a ‘buy’ at 0.1 would need Fiorentina to win to return a profit (e.g.one goal Fiorentina win would return 0.9 x your stake, two goal Fiorentina win 1.9 x your stake etc.).

And a sell at -0.1 would need Palace to win to return a profit (e.g. one goal Palace win would return 0.9 x your stake, two goal Palace win 1.9 x your stake etc.).

Our spread betting Total Goals line is 2.5 – 2.7. So a 'buy' bet at 2.7 would need at least three goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Oppositely, a 2.5 sell bet would need two goals or less to be scored in the match to turn a profit.

Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. E.g. a 2.7 'buy' Total Goals bet would lose 2.7 x your stake if the match ended 0-0, would lose 1.7 x your stake if only one goal was scored in total and lose 0.7 x your stake if only two goals were scored in total.

In the 0.1 'buy' Supremacy bet example above, if the game ended a draw the bet would lose 0.1 x your stake. If Palace won by one goal then it would lose 1.1 x your stake, if Palace won by two goals then lose 2.1 x your stake etc. And in the -0.1 'sell' Supremacy example above, if the game ended a draw then the bet would again lose 0.1 x your stake. If Fiorentina won by one goal then the bet would lose 1.1 x your stake, if Fiorentina won by two goals would lose 2.1 x your stake etc.

Fiorentina v Crystal Palace betting specials and price boosts

Fiorentina edged away from the Seria A relegation places with a 1-0 win over Lazio on Monday night with Robin Gosens heading home the winner.

That was the Viola defender’s fourth goal of the season in all competitions and Gosens to score a header again in this one is boosted from 10/1 to 14/1.

On the Palace front, Jorgen Strand Larsen, Ismaila Sarr and Yeremy Pino all to have 1+ shot on target each is boosted from 16/5 to 17/4.

Looking at our spread betting markets, Mateta has found his shooting boots again with three goals in his last two games and would also be expected to be on pens, if starting. His Player Goal Minute quote is 16-19 and his Super Mega Player Goal Minutes at 24-29 (minutes of second goal doubled and minutes of third goal trebled).
