FRANCE V MOROCCO BETTING FORM

Tournament favourites France faced a different kind of challenge in their last match, with opponents Paraguay employing some of football’s dark arts to try and frustrate the French. Didier Deschamps’ men held their nerve and fought to a 1-0 victory, showing real grit from a side which has attacking force in abundance. France reached the final in 2018 and 2022, so expectations are sky-high, but all signs suggest this side will deliver once again. Can they progress to the semi-finals in this one?

FRANCE FORM

WIN: Paraguay 0-1 France, 4 July 2026
WIN: France 3-0 Sweden, 30 June 2026
WIN: Norway 1-4 France, 26 June 2026

After their fairytale run in 2022, Morocco also had lofty expectations heading into the tournament, and have looked strong again this year. After a tense penalty shootout win over the Netherlands, Mohamed Ouahbi’s side brushed aside co-hosts Canada with relative ease, though an injury to frontman Ismael Saibari will have Moroccan fans sweating. They will need to be at their very best if they are to beat France and equal their tournament best result from 2022. Can they cause another upset on Thursday?

WHAT ARE THE BEST ODDS ON FRANCE V MOROCCO?

France will head to Boston as favourites having established themselves as perhaps the best side in the tournament. You can back them to progress to the semi-finals at 1/4 and to win in 90 minutes at 6/11. You can also back them at 8/15 in our 2 Up market which pays out if your team goes up by two.

Morocco are the underdogs, at 11/4 to qualify and at 11/2 to win in normal time or at 5/1 in our 2 Up market. Morocco have already taken one game to extra time, and if you expect another stalemate after 90 minutes, you can back a draw at 29/10. If you’re hoping for maximum drama, you can back France to win on penalties at 10/1, or 11/1 for Morocco.

FRANCE V MOROCCO FOOTBALL SPREAD BETTING PRICES

We also offer a number of spread betting markets for Thursday’s match, including our Goal Supremacy market. This market currently has France favoured by 0.95-1.15 goals. This means that if you placed a “buy” bet, you would need France to win by at least two goals to start turning a profit. A two-goal victory for France would win you 0.85 times your stake, a three-goal win 1.85 times your stake, and so on.

However, if you bought and France lost, drew, or won by only one goal, you would lose money. Here, a one-goal loss for France would cost you 2.15 times your stake, whilst a draw would cost you 1.15 times your stake.

You can also bet on the total number of goals scored during the game with our Total Goals market. This is currently set at 2.55-2.75. If you’re expecting a high-scoring game, you would “buy” and would need at least three goals to turn a profit. Alternatively, if you expect a low-scoring affair, you could “sell” and would need two goals or fewer to turn a profit.

If you sold and the game ended 1-0, you would win 1.55 times your stake. However, if you sold and the game ended 4-2, you would lose 3.45 times your stake. It’s important to remember that when spread betting, if your bet loses, you can lose multiples of your stake, so be sure to choose appropriate stake sizes for each market.
