GREECE V SCOTLAND BETTING FORM

Hosts Greece come into this clash on a dire run of form, having lost their last three games in the World Cup qualifiers. A sole win against Belarus leaves them third in the group, and out of contention to qualify for next year’s tournament. However, Ivan Jovanović’s side will be keen to exact revenge on a Scotland who beat them 3-1 last time out. Can Greece salvage some dignity with a win in Saturday’s clash?

GREECE RECENT FORM

LOSS: Hungary 2-3 Greece, 12th October 2025
LOSS: Scotland 3-1 Greece, 9th October 2025
LOSS: Denmark 3-0 Greece, 8th September 2025

This is a huge game for Scotland, with automatic World Cup qualification on the line. Steve Clarke’s side have already confirmed a play-off spot, but they can guarantee qualification by winning their final two games against Greece and then group rivals Denmark later in the week. Scotland have been on fine form throughout the qualification process, with the Tartan Army unbeaten and taking ten points from their four group games. Can they continue their run on Saturday?

SCOTLAND RECENT FORM

WIN: Scotland 2-1 Belarus, 12th October 2025
WIN: Scotland 3-1 Greece, 9th October 2025
WIN: Belarus 0-2 Scotland, 8th September 2025

WHAT ARE THE BEST ODDS ON GREECE V SCOTLAND?

Despite a poor qualifying campaign so far, hosts Greece are the slight favourites in this one, at 11/10 to win the game. Visitors Scotland won the home-leg of this tie, but are underdogs as the visiting side here. They are priced at 13/5. You can back a draw at 21/10 if you’re expecting a stalemate. We also offer a 2-Up Early Payout market, which pays out if your team goes two goals up at any point during the match. Greece are 21/20 in this market, with Scotland at 12/5.

These two sides met just over a month ago in Glasgow, with late goals from Lewis Ferguson and Lyndon Dykes giving the Scots a 3-1 victory. The only other matches between the sides came earlier this year, when Greece won a Nations League tie over two legs. However, Scotland did win the away leg in Piraeus, meaning they are unbeaten at the Georgios Karaiskakis stadium, the venue for Saturday’s game.

GREECE V SCOTLAND FOOTBALL SPREAD BETTING PRICES

We also offer a number of spread betting markets for Saturday’s clash, including our “Goal Supremacy” market. This market currently has Greece favoured by 0.25-0.45 goals. This means that if you placed a “buy” bet, you would need Greece to win to start turning a profit. A one-goal victory for the hosts would win you 0.55 times your stake, a two-goal win 1.55 times your stake, and so on.

However, if you bought and Greece drew or lost, you would lose money. Here, a draw would cost you 0.45 times your stake and a one-goal loss would cost you 1.45 times your stake.

You can also bet on the total number of goals scored during the game with our Total Goals market. This is currently set at 2.4-2.6. If you’re expecting a high-scoring match, you could buy and would then need at least three goals to start turning a profit. Alternatively, if you expect the defences to be on top, you could “sell” and would need two goals or fewer to turn a profit.

If you sold and the game ended 0-0, you would win 2.4 times your stake. However, if you sold and the game ended 3-1, as it did the last tie these sides met, you would lose 1.6 times your stake. It’s important to remember that when spread betting, if your bet loses, you can lose multiples of your stake, so be sure to choose appropriate stake sizes for each market.
