With the bottom of the table tightening up, Leeds will be looking to land all three points on Saturday night as they host a Brentford side who are faltering in the league. With Spurs hosting Nottingham Forest on Sunday, the chance is there for Daniel Farke’s side to put some distance between themselves and 18th place.
The pair met in the run up to Christmas, with a Dominic Calvert-Lewin header rescuing a deserved point for the Whites, who had trailed following Jordan Henderson’s opener. The number nine will be looking for another big performance tomorrow, having been selected in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad for the upcoming friendlies against Uruguay and Japan.
Following a dubious red card in last week’s clash with Crystal Palace, Gabriel Gudmundsson will be suspended for this clash, with James Justin likely to switch to a left wing back role. Noah Okafor returns from injury for the hosts who otherwise have a full squad to pick from.
LEEDS UNITED RECENT FORM
DRAW: Crystal Palace 0-0 Leeds. Sunday 15th March 2026.WIN: Leeds 3-0 Norwich City. Sunday 8th March 2026.LOSS: Leeds 1-0 Sunderland. Tuesday 3rd March 2026.
Brentford had hauled themselves up to European contention, but one league win in five has seen them wobble in what is still a very impressive first season in charge for Keith Andrews.
The Bees travel to West Yorkshire looking to improve on a record which has seen them win just once at Elland Road in 16 attempts, with their sole victory in LS11 coming back in 2015. If they are to secure all three points, Brazilian striker Igor Thiago will need to be fit and firing. The former Club Brugge man has been a revelation this season and his tally of 19 league goals has seen him called up to the Brazil squad for the first time.
Mikkel Damsgaard is a doubt for tomorrow’s clash, whilst the likes of Vitaly Janelt, Aaron Hickey, Rico Henry, and Fabio Carvalho all remain sidelined.

Leeds have a good record under the lights at Elland Road and they have been installed as 29/20 favourites ahead of this one, with Daniel Farke’s men available to back at 13/10 on our 2 Up market. Another draw between these two sides can be backed at 5/2, with a Brentford win priced up at 9/5.

In our goalscorer markets, the focus is undeniably on Calvert-Lewin and Thiago, with one about to resurrect his international career and the other about to get his underway. DCL is 23/20 to score anytime tomorrow, with Thiago 29/20 to notch his 20th Premier League goal of the season and become the third Brentford player to achieve such a feat after Ivan Toney and Bryan Mbuemo.

There are a couple of spread betting markets which are of interest ahead of this one. The former Hoffenheim man has scored three direct free-kicks so far this season and his Free Kick Minutes spread is set at 0.5-2.
Indeed, Leeds have the highest percentage of set piece goals in the league and with Jaka Bijol, Joe Rodon, and Pascal Struijk all providing an aerial threat, you can trade Headed Goal Minutes at 30-33.
