Leicester City v Blackburn Rovers Betting Form?

It hasn’t been plain sailing for Leicester on their return to the second tier this season and the Foxes sit 10th in the league with 17 points from their 12 league games so far. Sitting in a glut of teams from 6th to 13th who are separated by just three points Marti Cifuentes’ side will be eyeing up Saturday’s clash with Blackburn as an ideal chance to get back to winning ways, having picked up just one point from their last three league games.

City have scored just twice since returning from the international break, with both coming through on loan midfielder Aaron Ramsey. However, the 22-year-old limped off in Leicester’s defeat against Millwall and Cifuentes has a decision to make as to who comes into the side. Stephy Mavididi scored 12 goals and registered seven assists in his last season at this level, and the 27-year-old might be the man called on to replace Ramsey’s attacking output.

LEICESTER CITY RECENT FORM

LOSS: Millwall 1-0 Leicester City. Saturday 25th October 2025.
LOSS: Hull City 2-1 Leicester City. Tuesday 21st October 2025.
DRAW: Leicester City 1-1 Portsmouth. Saturday 18th October 2025.

It has been a tough start to the season for Valerien Ismael’s Blackburn side and they find themselves one place and one point off the bottom three, although they did win their last match against Southampton.

Andri Gudjohnsen – son of former Bolton and Chelsea man Eidur – was the hero at Ewood Park as his 86th minute winner saw off the Saints for Rovers’ first league win of the season at home. The good news for Blackburn fans is that they have been marginally better on the road this season with two wins and three defeats so far this term and they have won on their last two visits to the King Power Stadium.

BLACKBURN ROVERS RECENT FORM

WIN: Blackburn 2-1 Southampton. Saturday 25th October 2025.
LOSS: Sheffield United 3-1 Blackburn. Tuesday 21st October 2025.
LOSS: Coventry City 2-0 Blackburn. Saturday 18th October 2025.

What Are The Best Odds On Leicester City v Blackburn Rovers?

Unsurprisingly, Leicester have been made favourites for this clash and, at the time of writing, only West Brom (4/9 to beat Sheffield Wednesday) and Southampton (7/10 to beat Preston) are a shorter price in the second tier than the 8/11 available on the Foxes.

If you want to back Leicester on our 2 Up market, you can do so at 7/10, with Blackburn at 10/3 – again with the 2 Up concession.

Leicester have struggled for goals of late and you can back either over or under 1.5 Leicester goals at 5/6. As for Blackburn, both sides have scored in four of their last five league outings with BTTS at the King Power also chalked up at 5/6.

Leicester City v Blackburn Rovers Spread Betting Prices

For those interested in our football spread betting markets, the Foxes have been made 0.65-0.85 favourites which would mean they would have to win for buyers to make a profit. In terms of the goals, the spread is available to trade at 2.5-2.7. This means that if you bought at 2.7 and the match finished with four goals, you would win 1.3x your stake. However, if there were only two goals scored, you would lose 0.7x your stake.

Similarly, you can trade the time of the 1st Goal at 35-38 (remember you will need to sell in this market if you think there will be a goal before the 35th minute) with Goals Cubed available to buy or sell at 38-44.

Leicester City v Blackburn Rovers Betting Specials and Price Boosts

We will have plenty of price boosts and specials available before kick-off, but one angle which may be of interest is around corners. Saturday’s hosts average 6.75 corners per match in the Championship, with only Sheffield United recording a higher per match total (6.92).

Off the back of that, the Foxes have scored five goals from set pieces this term (33%) with Jannik Vestergaard getting two goals already, so the Headed Goal Minutes spread could be an interesting trade.
