Manchester City have had a resurgence in form recently, not conceding a single goal in their last three games against world class opposition. City brushed aside Arsenal in the League Cup final a few weeks ago, and they come into this game knowing that they can close the gap on the league leaders with a win to pile the pressure onto their rivals.

Our football spread betting prices have the Supremacy as Man City / Arsenal at 0.6–0.8. This means a ‘buy’ bet at 0.8 would need Manchester City to win by one goal to start turning a profit (e.g. a one-goal win would win 0.2× your stake, a two-goal win 1.2× your stake, a three-goal win 2.2× your stake, etc.).
A 0.6 ‘sell’ bet would need either a draw, or Arsenal to win, to turn a profit (e.g. a draw would win 0.6× your stake, and an Arsenal win by one goal would win 1.6× your stake, etc.).
Our spread betting Total Goals line is 2.6–2.8. This means a 2.8 ‘buy’ bet would need at least three goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit (three goals would return a profit of 0.2× your stake). Conversely, a 2.6 ‘sell’ bet would need two goals or fewer to be scored in the match to turn a profit (three goals would result in a small loss of 0.4× your stake).
Remember that with spread betting, if you get the bet wrong, losses can exceed your stake/deposit. For example, a 2.8 ‘buy’ Total Goals bet would lose 2.8× your stake if the match ended 0–0. In the 0.8 ‘buy’ Supremacy bet example above, if the game ended a draw, the bet would lose 0.8× your stake. If Arsenal won by one goal, then it would lose 1.8× your stake, etc. And in the 0.6 ‘sell’ Supremacy example above, the bet would lose 0.4× your stake on a 1–0 Manchester City win, 1.4× your stake on a 2–0 Manchester City win, etc.
