City have found some good form recently to keep the title race closer than many would have expected a couple of months ago. Pep Guardiola’s side have won four Premier League games on the spin and are unbeaten in nine in all competitions, but have to keep picking up three points at a time if they are to catch league leaders Arsenal. A mid-week game could call for some squad rotation, especially with City still in all four competitions but recent signings have left Guardiola spoilt for choice in this regard. Can they keep their winning streak in this one?
MANCHESTER CITY LEAGUE FORM
WIN: Leeds 0-1 Man City, 28 February 2026WIN: Man City 2-1 Newcastle, 21 February 2026WIN: Man City 3-0 Fulham, 11 January 2026
Nottingham Forest on the other hand are winless in their last five Premier League matches and sit perilously close to the relegation zone. Forest fans will be hoping that their side’s strong Europa League form can translate to the league, with just two points separating them from 18th placed West Ham. However, with a trip to the Etihad on the horizon, a ground they have never won at in the Premier League, Forest will not have an easy fight for survival. Can they cause an upset on Wednesday?

City come into this game as strong favourites, with Pep Guardiola’s men in fine form. You can back the hosts to win the match at 4/11, or at 1/3 in our 2 Up market which pays out if your team goes up by two goals during the match.

We also offer a number of spread betting markets for Wednesday’s clash, including our “Goal Supremacy” market. This market currently has City favoured by 1.35-1.55 goals. This means that if you placed a “buy” bet, you would need City to win by at least two goals to start turning a profit. A two-goal victory for City would win you 0.45 times your stake, a three-goal win 1.45 times your stake, and so on.
However, if you bought and City lost, drew, or won by only one goal, you would lose money. Here, a one-goal loss would cost you 2.55 times your stake, a two-goal loss 3.55 times your stake, etc.
You can also bet on the total number of goals scored during the game with our Total Goals market. This is currently set at 3.05-3.25. If you’re expecting plenty of goalmouth action, you would “buy” and would need at least four total goals to turn a profit. Alternatively, if you expect the attackers to struggle at the Etihad, you would “sell” and need three goals or fewer to be scored in the game.
If you sold and the game ended in a 0-0 draw, you would win 3.05 times your stake. However, if you sold and the game ended 4-2, you would lose 2.95 times your stake. It’s important to remember that when spread betting, if your bet loses, you can lose multiples of your stake, so be sure to choose appropriate stake sizes for each market.
