Nottingham Forest will face Leeds for the second time in four days after hosting the Whites in their Premier League opener on Saturday. A late goal from the visitors meant that Oliver Glasner opened his tenure as Forest manager with a loss, so a quick rebound will be a top priority for him in this one. Forest were knocked out by Swansea in their first match of the competition last year after entering in the third round, so fans will be hoping for a better run this season. Can they progress to the next round on Tuesday?

A close-run affair on Saturday saw Leeds steal a winner in the dying minutes to take home all three points to open the Premier League season. Now they will return to the City Ground, and will be hoping to get their EFL Cup campaign off to a similar start. The Whites were also knocked out at the first hurdle last season after losing on penalties to Sheffield Wednesday, so fans will be expecting a deeper run this time out. How will they fare tonight?

Hosts Forest are the slight favourites in this one as they look to return to winning ways at the City Ground. You can back them to win the match at 5/4, or at 23/20 in our 2-Up Early Payout market, which pays out if your team goes two goals up at any time during the game.
Leeds are the underdogs despite their win on Saturday. They head into this one at 11/5 to win, or at 2/1 in our 2-Up market. If you’re expecting a stalemate over 90 minutes, you can back a draw at 23/10.

We also offer a number of spread betting markets for Saturday’s game, including our Goal Supremacy market. This market currently has Nottingham Forest favoured by 0.15-0.35 goals. This means that if you placed a “buy” bet, you would need Forest to win to start turning a profit. A one-goal victory for Nottingham Forest would win you 0.65 times your stake, a two-goal win 1.65 times your stake, and so on.
However, if you bought and Forest drew or lost the game, you would lose money. Here, a draw would cost you 0.35 times your stake, whilst a one-goal loss would cost you 1.35 times your stake etc.
You can also bet on the total number of goals scored during the game with our Total Goals market. This is currently set at 2.55-2.75. If you’re expecting a high-scoring game, you would “buy” and would need at least three total goals to turn a profit. Alternatively, if you expect a low-scoring affair, you could “sell” and would need two goals or fewer to turn a profit.
If you sold and the game ended 1-0, you would win 1.55 times your stake. However, if you sold and the game ended 4-2, you would lose 3.45 times your stake. It’s important to remember that when spread betting, if your bet loses, you can lose multiples of your stake, so be sure to choose appropriate stake sizes for each market.
