PSG Recent Form
PSG have failed to show the sparkling form that saw them become European champions for the first time last season. The French side are top of Ligue 1, but only one point clear of 2nd place. They managed to navigate a tricky Knockout Phase tie against Monaco to reach the Last 16. But were fortunate that Monaco received red cards and played with 10 men in both legs.
Loss: PSG 1-3 Monaco, Friday 6th March.
Win: Le Havre 0-1 PSG, Saturday 28th Feb.

Chelsea Recent Form
Liam Rosenior has managed to silence the initial frenzy over his credentials and overseen better results than expected. Chelsea have not been perfect, but they put in a convincing win away at Aston Villa to boost their Champions League qualification odds. They also progressed to the Quarter-Finals of the FA Cup after defeating Wrexham in extra-time.
Win: Wrexham 2-4 Chelsea, Saturday 7th March.
Win: Aston Villa 1-4 Chelsea, Wednesday 4th March.
Loss: Arsenal 2-1 Chelsea, Sunday 1st March.
Draw: Chelsea 1-1 Burnley, Saturday 21st February.
Win: Hull City 0-4 Chelsea, Friday 13th February.
PSG and Chelsea contested the FIFA Club World Cup final in the US last summer, in a shock at the time Chelsea comfortably beat PSG 3-0 with Cole Palmer scoring a brace. The two sides last met in the Champions League in 2016 at the Last 16 stage, PSG won both legs 2-1 to advance. Chelsea haven’t beaten PSG in the Champions League since 2014.
PSG are 10/11 favourites to win on Wednesday, a 2-1 scoreline in favour of the French side is 15/2. Chelsea are 29/10 to win, and a 2-1 Chelsea win is 11/1. Over 4.5 Match Goals is 10/3.

Alternatively sports spread betting markets are available for the match, offering a different way to bet on sports compared to regular fixed odds betting. Selected football spread betting markets include Total Goals; the spread is 3.1 – 3.3. If you thought, there would be 4 goals or more in the match you would make a ‘buy’ bet. If the match finished 2-2 then a ‘buy’ bet would return a profit of 0.7 x your stake. However, if the match finished with 3 goals or less then a ‘buy’ bet would return a loss. E.g. a final score of 1-1 would return a loss of 1.3 x your stake.
Another available spread betting market is 1st Match Goal, the spread is 31 – 34. If you thought the 1st Goal will come before the 31st minute you would make a ‘sell’ bet. If the 1st Goal came in the 26th minute, then a ‘sell’ bet would return 5 x your stake. However, if the 1st Goal came after the 31st minute then a ‘sell’ bet would return a loss. E.g. a 1st Goal in the 37th minute would lose 6 x your stake. A ‘sell’ bet would also return a loss if no goal was scored.
Other football spread betting markets on PSG vs Chelsea include Shirt Numbers, Bookings, Corners, Total Goal Minutes and Goals Cubed.
