It is the second matchday of League B Group 1, with both sides competing alongside Slovenia and North Macedonia.
Scotland will be hoping to produce another memorable night under the lights at Hampden Park, with a win on Tuesday night putting them in a strong position to challenge for top spot in the group. They face a tough Switzerland side featuring Premier League talent such as Niko Elvedi, Noah Okafor and Daniel Ndoye.
Scotland are not short of quality either, with John McGinn, Scott McTominay and Andrew Robertson among their key players. With a passionate home crowd behind them, Scotland will be hoping home advantage can make the difference and inspire them to victory over the Swiss.

Switzerland are the favourites to win this fixture, priced at 21/20 on Spreadex’s fixed odds market (Evens on our 2 Up early payout Match Odds market) with hosts Scotland priced at 12/5 (11/5 on the 2 Up early payout market) and the draw at 23/10.
The last time these two sides met was back in 2024, where the two sides played out a 1-1 draw with Scott McTominay getting on the scoresheet for Scotland whilst Xherdan Shaqiri found the net for the Swiss. A repeat of that scoreline this time round is priced at 11/2.
Alternatively, if you’re expecting a score draw without picking an exact result, BTTS & Draw is available at 14/5.
Our football spread betting prices have Switzerland as the favourites with a Goal Supremacy quote of Switzerland/Scotland (h) 0.3 – 0.5. This means a 'buy' bet at 0.5 would need a Switzerland win to start turning a profit (e.g. one goal win would win 0.5x your stake, two goal win would win 1.5x your stake etc.).
A 0.3 'sell' bet would need a draw or Scotland win to turn a profit (e.g. a draw would win 0.3x your stake and a one goal Scotland win would win 1.3x your stake etc.).
Our spread betting Total Goals line is 2.55 – 2.75. So, a 2.75 'buy' bet would need at least three goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Conversely, a ‘2.55’ sell bet would need two goals or less to be scored in the match to turn a profit.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. E.g. a 2.75 'buy' Total Goals bet would lose 2.75x your stake if the match ended 0-0. In the 0.5 'buy' Supremacy bet example above, a draw would lose 0.5x your stake and a one goal Scotland win would lose 1.5x your stake etc. And in the 0.3 'sell' Supremacy example above, the bet would lose 0.7x your stake on a one goal Switzerland win and 1.7x your stake on a two goal Switzerland win etc.
Price Boosts are typically available on the Spreadex website the day before the game, so it’s worth checking back closer to kick-off for enhanced odds. In addition, Spreadex also features ‘Popular Bet-Builders’, specially curated by their in-house pricing team to highlight fan-favourite betting combinations.
In the last matchup between these two sides Scott McTominay opened the scoring in just the 13th minute. This meant that the spread betting market First Match Goal made up at 13. This time round the spread for First Match Goal is 35 – 38. This means if there were a repeat of an opening goal in the 13th minute, a ‘sell’ at 35 would win 22x your stake.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. So for example if the First Match Goal was scored in the 50th minute, a ‘sell’ at 50 would lose 15x times your stake.
Spreadex is one of the only sportsbooks in the UK to offer Sports Spread Betting as well as traditional fixed odds prices. Some of the unique betting markets available include Player Goal Minutes (the aggregate minutes of the goals scored by a named player in a match), Total Goal Minutes (the aggregate of the minutes of all goals scored in a match), Shirt Numbers (the aggregate of the shirt numbers of all goalscorers in a match), Bookings Points (based on 10 points per yellow, 25 per red), Corners, Time of 1st Match Goal, Match Performance and many, many more.
