The Players Championship is unofficially known as golfs 5th major. Each year the competition is held at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Verde Beach, Florida. The Players Championship has arguably one of golfs iconic holes in the par 3 17th Island green, which plays to a distance of 137 yards.
The 17th Island green has seen a total of 14 hole in ones since 1982, with Ryan Fox being the latest to card an ace in 2024.

The 2026 Players Championship will be held at TPC Sawgrass from March 12th to 15th 2026.
The 2026 Players Championship is being held at TPC Sawgrass, which has been the venue since 1982. This year marks the 45th time the competition will be played here, with the only exception being the cancelled competition in 2020.
