Despite spending heavily over the summer, Tottenham have struggled to find their rhythm under Robert De Zerbi and are still searching for their first win of the season. They drew away at Manchester United last time out, putting in a performance that will have given supporters renewed hope ahead of their upcoming fixtures. Spurs will be targeting Monday night's home clash with Coventry as an opportunity to finally secure their first league victory of the campaign.
Like Tottenham, Coventry endured a difficult start to the season, losing their opening four games without scoring. However, Frank Lampard's side have since bounced back with consecutive victories, including an impressive 4-1 win over Newcastle last time out. They will be hoping to carry that momentum into Monday's clash, with Lampard looking to pile further pressure on his former rivals and take advantage of Tottenham's disappointing home form at their new stadium.

Tottenham are the favourites to win this fixture, priced at 4/9 on Spreadex’s fixed odds market (2/5 on our 2 Up early payout Match Odds market) with visitors Coventry priced at 5/1 (9/2 on the 2 Up early payout market) and the draw at 18/5.
The last time these two sides met Spurs won 2-1 with Brennan Johnson and Djed Spence getting on the scoresheet whilst Brandom Thomas-Asante netted for Coventry. A repeat of that scoreline this time round is priced at 7/1.
Alternatively, if you’re expecting Tottenham to win and Coventry to get on the scoresheet without picking an exact result, Tottenham To Win + BTTS is available at 9/5.
Our football spread betting prices have Tottenham as the favourites with a Goal Supremacy quote of Tottenham/Coventry 1.2 – 1.4. This means a 'buy' bet at 1.4 would need a Tottenham two goal win to start turning a profit (e.g. two goal win would win 0.6x your stake, three goal win would win 1.6x your stake etc.).
A 1.2 'sell' bet would need a one goal Tottenham win, draw or Coventry win to turn a profit (e.g. a one goal Tottenham win would win 0.2x your stake, a draw would win 1.2x your stake and a one goal Coventry win would win 2.2x your stake etc.).
Our spread betting Total Goals line is 3.1 – 3.3. So, a 3.3 'buy' bet would need at least four goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Conversely, a ‘3.1’ sell bet would need three goals or less to be scored in the match to turn a profit.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. E.g. a 3.3 'buy' Total Goals bet would lose 3.3x your stake if the match ended 0-0. In the 1.4 'buy' Supremacy bet example above, a Tottenham one goal win would lose 0.4x your stake, a draw would lose 1.4x your stake and a one goal Coventry win would lose 2.4x your stake etc. And in the 1.2 'sell' Supremacy example above, the bet would lose 0.8x your stake on a two goal Tottenham win and 1.8x your stake on a three goal Tottenham win etc.
Price Boosts are typically available on the Spreadex website the day before the game, so it’s worth checking back closer to kick-off for enhanced odds. In addition, Spreadex also features ‘Popular Bet-Builders’, specially curated by their in-house pricing team to highlight fan-favourite betting combinations.
In Spurs last three matches there has been late drama with the Last Match Goal being scored in injury time. This means in the last three games the Last Match Goal spread betting market has made up at 90. This time round the Last Match Goal market has a spread of 67 - 70. This means that if there were to be a repeat of late drama, a buy at 70 would win 20x your stake.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. So for example if the Last Match Goal was scored in the 55th minute, a ‘buy’ at 70 would lose 15x times your stake.
