WREXHAM V COVENTRY BETTING FORM

Since being taken over by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney in 2020, Wrexham have rocketed up the football pyramid. The Welsh side entered this season on the back of three consecutive promotions and had serious hopes of a fourth after a busy summer transfer window. However, Phil Parkinson’s side have struggled to adapt to Championship football. Taking only one win from the last six games, the Red Dragons sit 16th in the league table and face the daunting prospect of hosting a red-hot Coventry side. Can they find their feet this Friday?

WREXHAM LEAGUE FORM

WIN: Wrexham 1-0 Oxford United, 22nd October 2025
LOSS: Stoke 1-0 Wrexham, 18th October 2025

Coventry have been electric to start their Championship campaign. Frank Lampard’s side have taken 28 points from the opening 12 games, scoring a whopping 34 goals in the process. The Sky Blues are unbeaten in the league and sit atop the table, three points clear of their closest rivals. Coventry also have the two top goalscorers in the Championship, with Brandon Thomas-Asante and Haji Wright sat on nine and eight goals apiece for the campaign so far. Will they be in the goals again this Friday?

WHAT ARE THE BEST ODDS ON WREXHAM V COVENTRY?

Visitors Coventry head into this game as favourites, currently priced at 19/20 to win the game.  The Sky Blues have been the best side in the division so far and are looking more and more like potential champions. However, hosts Wrexham have had the better of the two sides’ few previous encounters. The Red Dragons have never lost to Coventry, and won the last clash 4-3 in a thrilling FA Cup tie back in 2023. Nonetheless, they will be the underdogs in this one and currently sit at 13/5 to win the game

We also offer a 2-Up Early Payout market, which pays out if your team goes two goals up at any time during the game. You can back Wrexham in this market at 12/5, or Coventry at 87/100.

WREXHAM V COVENTRY FOOTBALL SPREAD BETTING PRICES

We also offer a number of spread betting markets for Friday’s clash, including our Goal Supremacy market. This market currently has Coventry favoured by 0.45-0.65 goals. This means that if you placed a “buy” bet, you would need Coventry to win to start turning a profit. A one-goal victory for Coventry would win you 0.35 times your stake, a two-goal win 1.35 times your stake, and so on.

However, if you bought and Coventry drew or lost the game, you would lose money. Here, a one-goal loss would cost you 1.65 times your stake, a two-goal loss 2.65 times your stake, etc.

You can also bet on the total number of goals scored during the game with our Total Goals market. This is currently set at 2.7-2.9. If you’re expecting a high-scoring game, as was the case the last time these two sides met, you would “buy” and would need at least three total goals to turn a profit. Alternatively, if you expect a low-scoring affair, you could “sell” and would need two goals or fewer to turn a profit.

If you sold and the game ended 1-0, you would win 1.7 times your stake. However, if you sold and the game ended in a 5-0 drubbing, you would lose 2.3 times your stake. It’s important to remember that when spread betting, if your bet loses, you can lose multiples of your stake, so be sure to choose appropriate stake sizes for each market.
