Spread Bets Of The Day
The Ashes 3rd Test starts tomorrow morning, while this evening there is another round of mid-week fixtures in the Championship. But what makes our Spread Bets of the Day? 1. The Ashes 3rd Test – 1st Innings Supremacy (Eng/Aus), 20-40England may have been held to a draw in the 2nd Test, but they will head to Headingley with renewed spirit and no small amount of relief that Steve Smith has been ruled out of the 3rd Test due to concussion. With the ace Australian absent, Joe Root and co. will spy a chance to draw the series level. The tone will be set early on, and Spreadex are offering a 1st Inning Supremacy (Eng/Aus) spread of 20-40 ahead of the toss at 11am on Sky Sport Cricket. 2. Leeds vs Brentford – Bookings, 38-42The Whites will want to steal back the top spot from Sheffield Wednesday with a win over Brentford. Both sides have been pretty consistent in picking up cards over the last few games, leading to a Bookings spread of 38-42. 3. Fulham vs Millwall – Aleksander Mitrovic SMM, 53-61Though Millwall are yet to lose a game, Fulham are very much fancied on Wednesday, sitting at a Goal Supremacy spread of 0.8-1. That might be because Aleksander Mitrovic, who has scored in the last 2 games, is sitting at a muscular SMM spread of 53-61. 4. Charlton vs Nottingham Forest – Nottingham Forest/Charlton (h) Goal Supremacy, 0-0.2Despite being one of the sides rocking a 3-game unbeaten streak, Forest’s emphatic 3-0 win over Birmingham at the weekend appears to have given them the edge over the Addicks, at a narrow Goal Supremacy spread of 0-0.2. 5. Preston vs Stoke – Total Goals, 2.35-2.55Sat plump at the bottom of the Championship, Stoke’s single point comes from last weekend’s draw against Derby. Their one game away from home so far saw them lose 3-1, while Preston’s solitary win was a 3-0 victory against Wigan at Deepdale. Spreadex, then, are offering a Total Goals spread of 2.35-2.55.Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change
