Tennis 

Andy Murray is slowly rediscovering his form as he continues his return from back surgery and his split with Ivan Lendl. The Scot takes on Rafael Nadal in the semi-finals at the French Open tomorrow (Friday).

Murray needed five sets to see off Gael Monfils in the quarter-finals. Earlier in the tournament he was taken to a 12-10 fifth set decider by Philip Kohlschreiber, when our X-Courts spread betting market made up at 198. Great for buyers at 97, but not so good for sellers on that particular day.

Before Murray’s clash tomorrow, Novak Djokovic takes on Ernests Gulbis with the Serb 1/9 for the win and Gulbis 11/2.

Rugby 

With club affairs now done and dusted for another season after Saracens followed defeat in the Heineken Cup final with another loss in the Aviva Premiership final last weekend, all eyes turn towards international fixtures.

England take on the formidable All Blacks in their own back yard without players from Sarries and Northampton following the Twickenham final.

Given the weakened nature of England’s squad, New Zealand are 1/50 with England 12/1 and the draw 33/1. Our Points Supremacy spread betting market is New Zealand 20 – 23.

After Jos Buttler was run out in controversial circumstances at the non-striker’s end in Sri Lanka’s six wicket final ODI victory over England, the Test series is sure to be a spicy affair.

Darts

The World Cup of Darts takes place in Hamburg, Germany with 32 nations each represented by two players competing for a £200,000 prize fund.

The competition runs in a knockout format beginning tomorrow (Friday). Reigning champions England, represented by Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis, take on Thailand in the first round.

The Dutch, with in-form duo Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld, play Italy.

American Sports

We’re down to the climax of the NBA and NHL seasons while the MLB continues with regular season games.

In the basketball, the first match of the seven game finals sees Miami at San Antonio overnight tonight (Thursday). We’ll have live betting on the first clash between the sides from 2.05am in the early hours of Friday morning.

In the ice hockey, Los Angeles Kings take a one game lead into the second game against New York Rangers on Saturday night.

Meanwhile our live baseball betting takes in San Francisco @ Cincinnati at 5.35pm today and Miami @ Tampa Bay at 9.10pm.

Motor Racing

The seventh GP of the F1 season takes place in Montreal, Canada on Sunday. Mercedes are dominating, but there’s no love lost between Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton after the Brit accused the German of deliberately impeding his qualifying run in practice two weeks ago in Monaco.

Rosberg ultimately ended up taking pole and victory in the race with Hamilton having to settle for second meaning Rosberg leads the championship on 122 points with Hamilton on 118. Fernando Alonso is a distant third on 61 points.

For this weekend’s race we have Hamilton 1/2 and Rosberg 9/4 with Daniel Ricciardo 20/1 and Sebastian Vettel 25/1.

The Scottish Independence Referendum takes place on September 18th and our traders reckon it’s going to end as a ‘No’ vote.

That’s 2/7 to be the outcome while a ‘Yes’ vote is 5/2.
