Records tumbled yesterday at Centurion as South Africa chased down a score of 259 to beat the West Indies and level the three match T20 Series at 1-1 with one match to play. Johnson Charles hit a 39-ball century becoming the quickest West Indian to hit a ton, whilst there was plenty of power hitting on display for the Proteas.

Quinton de Kock and Reeza Hendricks shared an opening partnership of 152 runs which included scoring 29 runs off a single over as the hosts bludgeoned their way to 150-0 after ten overs (a T20 record).

West Indies equalled the record for the number of sixes scored in a T20 innings (22) and whilst the hosts didn’t quite match that, they still chipped in with 13 of their own to leave Sixes Squared to settle at 1225. Before play began, the Sixes Squared spread was 281-312 as buyers landed a win of 913x their stake.

CZECH REPUBILC v POLAND – CZECH REPUBLIC LEADING MINUTES (SETTLED AT 89)

After 14 seconds on Friday night, the Czech Republic earned a throw in deep into Polish territory. Vladimir Coufal trots over to take a long throw and the West Ham full back launches it into the box, picks out Ladislav Krejči and the Sparta Prague man finds the back of the net with a brilliant header with the clock at 27 seconds.

Less than two minutes later Tomáš Čvančara was doubling the hosts’ lead with a near post finish and they never looked back, going on to win 3-1. There were a couple of big winning spread bets for those buying or selling minutes of goals, but a buy on Czech Republic Leading Minutes settled at the maximum make-up of 89 against a pre-match spread of 24-27 as buyers won 62x their stake.

CASTLEFORD TIGERS v WARRINGTON WOLVES – CASTLEFORD TIGERS MULTI-POINTS (SETTLED AT 0)

It is a tough time for Super League fans in the WF postcode with Castleford and Wakefield propping up the Super League table after a dismal start to the season. Both sides have been poor in attack this season and both sides rewarded sellers on the team Multi-Points spread for the fourth time this season.

Trinity managed to avoid being nilled for the fourth time this season on Friday night, but they still only scored one try with the Wakefield Multi-Points market making up at zero against a spread of 63-75.

Sellers would have come away with a good win at Belle Vue but across the district, Cas were busy getting trounced 38-0 by Warrington. Again, Castleford Multi-Points made up at zero, but the spread was a touch higher at the Jungle with sellers playing at 75-89 and winning 75x their stake.

A £1 sell on Castleford Multi-Points in every match this season would have won you £262 whilst a £1 sell on Wakefield Multi-Points in their matches would have netted a win of £149. Trinity travel to Saints on Friday with Cas heading to France on Saturday to face Catalans Dragons before the pair meet at Belle Vue over the Easter Weekend.
