Daily Spread Betting Round-up
There were plenty of big winning bets over the last few days as online betting punters kept our traders busy despite the international break.
With the top flight in England and Scotland taking a break over the weekend, there was the chance for some of the smaller sides to steal the limelight for a few days and that was an opportunity seized by NIFL Premiership side Carrick Rangers.
Based in Carrickfergus, Rangers welcomed a relegation threatened Crusaders to Taylors Avenue and they put them to the sword with a 6-1 victory. In a cruel twist of fate, Carrick’s manager is Stephen Baxter who led Crusaders to four league titles during a 19-year stint in charge at Seaview.
Saturday’s defeat leaves the Crues looking nervously over their shoulder with just one point separating them from bottom-placed Glenavon who have a game in hand on the Belfast side. There were no such worries for buyers on Total Goal Minutes at 155-165 however, as four second half goals saw the spread settle at 409. Buyers were left collecting a win of 244x their stake.

There was an emotional story in golf at the weekend as Gary Woodland won his first PGA Tour title since having a brain tumour removed and being diagnosed with PTSD. The emotion was clear to see on the face of the American, who won the Houston Open , finishing five shots ahead of Nicolai Hojgaard.
Before play began at the Memorial Park Golf Course, the Gary Woodland Leaderboard spread was available to trade at 1.5-2.5. This spread awards 80 points for the winner, 40 points for second, all the way down to five points for eighth position.
A win for the 2019 US Open champion saw the market settle at a maximum of 80 points as buyers won 77.5x their stake.
The IPL kicked off last week, but there was also action north of the border as Lahore Qalanders hosted Karachi Kings in the PSL. Lahore opted to bat first, setting a target of 129, but a Karachi team containing Aussie duo Adam Zampa and David Warner, as well as new Yorkshire signing Moeen Ali, chased them down.
A low scoring game was good news for sellers on Launch, one of our more volatile cricket spread betting markets. This spread, which was 1375-1475 before play began in Pakistan’s second-largest city, sees the highest individual score multiplied by the highest scoring over. With Muhammad Waseen scoring 38 and 18 runs the highest score off one over, the market settled at 684 as sellers landed a big win of 691x their stake.
