With the countdown to the new Premier League season underway, Spreadex Sports' Premier League Season Points markets are now live, giving you the chance to predict how every team will perform over the course of the campaign. Rather than simply backing a team to win the title or finish in the top four, Premier League season points spread betting lets you buy or sell a club's predicted points total.
Each team is assigned a season points spread before the opening weekend. If you think a club will exceed its expected points tally, you can buy. If you believe they'll fall short, you can sell. For example, Liverpool's spread is 70-72, so if you were to buy at 72 for £10 per point, finishing on 78 points would return a £60 profit. If they end the season on 66 points, you'd make a £60 loss. Unlike fixed-odds betting, your profit or loss depends on how far above or below your opening buy or sell price the team finishes.
The Premier League Season Points market is updated throughout the season to reflect each team's performances, giving you the opportunity to trade on changing expectations from the opening weekend through to the final day.
Read on to see our Premier League 2026/27 points predictions for every team, as we forecast where each club will finish the season. From potential title winners and European hopefuls to relegation candidates, discover which teams we think are destined for glory and which could be in for a long, hard season.
It is important to note Spreadex’s forecast is a live market. Which means club’s forecasted totals can change between now and the start of the season, and good transfer business could improve a team’s outlook. Points predictions in this article are accurate as of 28th July 2026.
Spread betting carries a high level of risk and can result in losses larger than your initial steak/deposit.
After ending their long wait for a Premier League title, Arsenal head into the 2026/27 campaign as favourites to retain their crown. Mikel Arteta has built one of the strongest squads in Europe and, with further additions expected during the summer transfer window, the Gunners look well placed to challenge once again.
With several of their biggest rivals entering a new era, Arsenal have the stability and quality to make it back-to-back Premier League titles. Our Premier League points prediction has Arsenal finishing on around 78 points, enough to lift the trophy once again.
Season History
Manchester City begin life after Pep Guardiola, with Enzo Maresca taking charge following one of the most successful managerial reigns in football history. Guardiola delivered 20 major trophies, leaving huge expectations for his successor.
City have already strengthened with the signing of Elliot Anderson, and more arrivals are expected before the transfer window closes. Despite the changes, the Citizens should remain firmly in the Premier League title race, although we expect them to finish just behind Arsenal with around 75.5 points.
Liverpool endured a disappointing campaign by their standards, finishing fifth after entering the season as defending champions. That prompted a managerial change, with Andoni Iraola replacing Arne Slot ahead of the new season.
The return of Alexandre Isak from injury, combined with expected summer signings, should make Liverpool far more competitive. We expect the Reds to challenge for the Champions League places and finish third with around 70.5 points.
Manchester United have looked revitalised since appointing Michael Carrick as manager, with the former club captain guiding the Red Devils back into the Premier League's top three.
Balancing domestic football with European competition will provide a tougher challenge this season, but United have enough quality and momentum to remain in the top four. Our Premier League prediction sees them collecting around 69 points and finishing fourth.
Chelsea begin a new chapter under Xabi Alonso, with another busy summer expected at Stamford Bridge. The arrival of Morgan Rogers signals their intent, while the lack of European football could prove a significant advantage.
Without the demands of midweek continental fixtures, Chelsea should be able to focus fully on climbing the Premier League table. We predict a major improvement, with the Blues finishing fifth on around 68 points.
After narrowly avoiding relegation, Tottenham will be hoping Roberto De Zerbi can spark an immediate revival. Spurs have already strengthened with the signings of Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes, and further additions are expected before the season begins.
A significant improvement looks likely, with Tottenham predicted to gain more than 20 extra points compared to last season and secure a comfortable top-half finish on around 61 points.
Aston Villa enjoyed one of the greatest seasons in the club's history, securing a top-four finish and ending a 30-year wait for major silverware. However, replacing influential players such as Morgan Rogers and Youri Tielemans could prove difficult.
European football will also test Unai Emery's squad depth, and we expect Villa to drop slightly down the table, finishing seventh with around 58 points.
Brighton finished last season strongly to secure European football after an impressive turnaround under Fabian Hürzeler. They'll now balance Premier League action with a Europa Conference League campaign, where they could be among the favourites.
Despite the added fixtures, the Seagulls have consistently punched above their weight and are predicted to finish eighth with around 53.5 points.
Following a disappointing 12th-place finish, Newcastle United will be looking for a stronger campaign. Eddie Howe has refreshed his squad during the transfer window, although the departures of key players could affect their progress.
We expect Newcastle to improve enough to return to the top half of the Premier League, ending the season with around 52 points.
David Moyes continues to rebuild Everton, with Hayden Hackney already arriving to strengthen the squad. The Toffees look capable of taking another step forward after a solid mid-table campaign.
Our Premier League points prediction has Everton finishing in the top half with around 49.5 points, comfortably clear of the relegation battle.
Brentford exceeded expectations last season, with Keith Andrews guiding the Bees to an impressive campaign that saw them narrowly miss out on European qualification. Despite pre-season predictions tipping them for a relegation battle, Brentford once again proved they can compete with the Premier League's established sides.
We expect another solid campaign from the Bees, with enough quality and consistency to secure a comfortable mid-table finish. Our Premier League points prediction has Brentford ending the season with around 49 points.
Bournemouth have developed a reputation for replacing key players without losing momentum, and they'll need to do so again this summer. Marco Senesi has already departed for Tottenham, while Alex Scott and Eli Junior Kroupi continue to attract interest from elsewhere.
After an outstanding sixth-place finish and European qualification last season, balancing continental football alongside the Premier League could prove challenging. We still expect the Cherries to enjoy another respectable campaign, finishing 12th with around 49 points.
Nottingham Forest endured a turbulent campaign last season, finishing 16th after going through three different managers. The club will hope new boss Oliver Glasner can provide much-needed stability, with the Austrian bringing both domestic and European experience to the City Ground.
A more settled environment should help Forest climb away from the relegation battle. Our Premier League prediction sees them finishing 13th with around 48 points.
Leeds United comfortably achieved their objective of Premier League survival last season while also enjoying an impressive run to the FA Cup semi-finals. Daniel Farke has continued to strengthen his squad with the additions of Harry Wilson and Tarik Muharemovic.
With another year of top-flight experience under their belt, Leeds should continue to progress. We predict the Whites will finish 14th with around 46 points, comfortably avoiding the relegation battle.
Crystal Palace have enjoyed the most successful spell in their history, winning the FA Cup, Community Shield and UEFA Europa Conference League across the past two seasons. However, the departure of Oliver Glasner has brought change, with Pierre Sage taking charge ahead of the new campaign.
Competing in the Europa League will stretch Palace's squad, and we expect that to impact their league form. Our Premier League points prediction has the Eagles finishing 15th on around 46 points.
Fulham face a new era following Marco Silva's departure to Benfica. His replacement, Álvaro Arbeloa, arrives with an excellent reputation after impressing in Spain, although this will be his first experience managing in the Premier League.
While there may be a period of adjustment, Fulham possess enough quality to avoid serious relegation trouble. Our Premier League prediction has the Cottagers finishing 16th with around 44.5 points.
Sunderland are expected to experience one of the biggest drops in points compared to last season. After an impressive return to the Premier League, the Black Cats now face the added challenge of balancing domestic football with European competition.
Second-season syndrome could also play a part, but we believe Sunderland will do just enough to survive. Our Premier League points prediction has them finishing 17th on around 42.5 points, narrowly avoiding relegation.
Championship winners Coventry City return to the Premier League for the first time in 25 years under Frank Lampard. While promotion was a remarkable achievement, the step up to England's top flight is expected to be a significant challenge.
Our Premier League prediction has Coventry finishing on around 33 points, with the Sky Blues making an immediate return to the Championship.
Following Kieran McKenna's departure, Gary O'Neil has taken over and already strengthened the squad with signings including Issa Diop, Daizen Maeda and Emerson.
Despite those additions, we believe the Tractor Boys will find life back in the Premier League difficult, finishing on around 33.5 points and falling short of safety.
Hull City completed a surprise promotion through the Championship play-offs, but staying in the Premier League looks a much tougher task. The Tigers will need to outperform expectations if they are to avoid an immediate return to the second tier.
Our Premier League points prediction has Hull finishing bottom of the table with around 25 points, meaning all three promoted clubs are tipped to be relegated. Can the Tigers defy the odds and pull off a great escape?
