Who Are The Favourites For The 2026 World Cup?

Spain are the current favourites to become World Champions, priced at 9/2. Victory in July would be Spain’s 2nd World Cup win following 2010 in South Africa. England are priced 11/2 to win, Thomas Tuchel has been trusted as the man to guide England to tournament success after falling just short under Gareth Southgate. 2022 finalists France are 7/1 to win, while 2022 winners Argentina are 15/2.

Brazil haven’t won a World Cup since 2002, they have also trusted a successful foreign manager in Carlo Ancelotti, Brazil are 17/2 to win. Portugal are the UEFA Nations League holders, and this is Cristiano Ronaldo’s last shot at World Cup glory, they are priced at 12/1. Germany were knocked out at the Group Stage in 2022 but are 14/1 to win.

Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit so it's important you understand how each market works before setting an appropriate stake size for your bet.

Please note that this preview is not designed to offer any betting advice or suggestions. All prices quoted correct as of 11am Wednesday the 18th February. Price Boosts and other markets will be added closer to kick-off time.
