Arsenal Recent Form
Arsenal are favourites for the title and have a six-point cushion to their nearest rivals. It is a position they have been in before, losing out on the league after a late season collapse. However currently it doesn’t look like they will be challenged. Arsenal have grinded out key wins including vs Bournemouth and Brighton, they are also getting most of their squad available again. Which is good news as the Gunners have a busy January schedule.
Win: Bournemouth 2-3 Arsenal, Saturday 3rd January.
Win: Arsenal 4-1 Aston Villa, Tuesday 30th December.
Win: Arsenal 2-1 Brighton, Saturday 27th December.
Win: Arsenal 1-1 Crystal Palace (8-7 Penalties), Tuesday 23rd December.
Win: Everton 0-1 Arsenal, Saturday 20th December.
Liverpool Recent Form
Liverpool thought they had picked up their first win of 2026 when Cody Gakpo netted in added time against Fulham, but a stunning strike from Harrison Reed even later meant it was more dropped points. A recent unbeaten run has got Liverpool back into the top 4. However, they look flat going forward and fans are beginning to get frustrated at Arne Slot’s inability to provide solutions.
Draw: Fulham 2-2 Liverpool, Sunday 4th January.
Draw: Liverpool 0-0 Leeds, Thursday 1st January.
Win: Liverpool 2-1 Wolves, Saturday 27th December.
Win: Tottenham 1-2 Liverpool, Saturday 20th December.
Win: Liverpool 2-0 Brighton, Saturday 13th December.

Alternatively sports spread betting markets are available for the match, offering unique markets compared to regular fixed odds betting. Selected football spread betting markets include Total Goals; the spread 2.9 – 3.1. If you thought the match would finish with 4 goals or more you would make a ‘buy’ bet. If the final score was 2-2, then a ‘buy’ bet would return 0.9 x your stake. However, a ‘buy’ bet would return a loss if the match finished with 3 goals or less. E.g. a final score of 1-1 would return a ‘buy’ bet a loss of 1.1 x your stake.
Another available market is 1st Match Goal; the spread is 33 – 36. If you thought the 1st goal would come before the 33rd minute you would make a ‘sell’ bet. If the 1st goal came in the 29th minute then a ‘sell’ bet would return a profit of 4 x your stake. However, the if the 1st goal came in the 34th minute or after, then a ‘sell’ bet would return a loss. E.g. a 1st goal in the 40th minute would lose 4 x your stake. A ‘sell’ bet would also return a loss if no goals were scored.
