Bournemouth have cooled off somewhat after an electrifying start to the season but still find themselves in the top half of the table. Andoni Iraola’s men are unbeaten in seven in the Premier League despite losing star man Antoine Semenyo earlier in the year. European football is not out of reach for the Cherries but they will need to keep winning matches if they are to push further up the table.

Sunderland have also struggled to keep up their incredible start to the season after being promoted from the Championship last season. However, the Black Cats currently sit 12th in the Premier League table, safe from relegation and still hoping for a top-half finish. Régis Le Bris’ side are coming off a tough run of fixtures, with three straight losses in the league punctuated only by a narrow FA Cup win. Can they find their form again on Saturday?

Hosts Bournemouth come into this one as favourites with a good run of form behind them. You can back them to win at home at 4/5, or you can back them at 3/4 in our 2 Up early payout market which will pay out if your team goes two goals up at any point during the match.
Visitors Sunderland head to the Vitality with just one win in their last five league matches and are understandably underdogs. You can back them to claim all three points at 16/5, or at 29/10 in our 2 Up market. If you’re expecting a stalemate, you can back a draw at 14/5.

We also offer a number of spread betting markets for Saturday’s clash, including our “Goal Supremacy” market. This market currently has Bournemouth favoured by 0.6-0.8 goals. This means that if you placed a “buy” bet, you would need Bournemouth to win to start turning a profit. A one-goal victory for Bournemouth would win you 0.2 times your stake, a two-goal win 1.2 times your stake, and so on.
However, if you bought and Bournemouth drew or lost the game, you would lose money. Here, a one-goal loss would cost you 1.8 times your stake, a two-goal loss 2.8 times your stake, etc.
You can also bet on the total number of goals scored during the game with our Total Goals market. This is currently set at 2.8-3. If you’re expecting plenty of goalmouth action, you would “buy” and would need at least four total goals to turn a profit. Alternatively, if you expect the attackers to struggle at the Vitality, you would “sell” and need two goals or fewer to be scored in the game.
If you sold and the game ended in a 0-0 draw, you would win 2.8 times your stake. However, if you sold and the game ended 3-2, as it did the last time these teams met, you would lose 2.2 times your stake. It’s important to remember that when spread betting, if your bet loses, you can lose multiples of your stake, so be sure to choose appropriate stake sizes for each market.
