Chelsea are on an poor run of form and need to get back to winning ways if they are to qualify for European football next season. The Blues recently parted ways with Liam Rosenior after losing their 5th consecutive Premier League match and will be led by interim boss Callum McFarlane until the end of the season. With the FA Cup final on the horizon, Chelsea will need to keep their focus on the league as well to ensure a top seven finish.

Nottingham Forest have found their best form to end the season. Vitor Pereira’s men sit five points clear of the relegation zone, with three wins in their last five and unbeaten in six league matches. Their scoring prowess has also been on full display, with nine goals in their last two games. However, Forest will have to also ensure their focus doesn’t waver, with a Europa League semi-final coming up.

Chelsea are the favourites in this one despite their poor league form. You can back the hosts to win the match at 4/6, or at 8/13 in our 2 Up market which pays out if your team goes up by two goals. Visitors Forest are the underdogs, at 18/5 to win the match, or at 16/5 in our 2 Up market.
These two sides have drawn just once in their last five match-ups, with Chelsea generally having the better of the clash in recent years. If you expect this record to change, you can back the draw at 29/10.

We also offer a number of spread betting markets for Saturday’s clash, including our “Goal Supremacy” market. This market currently has Chelsea favoured by 0.75-0.95 goals. This means that if you placed a “buy” bet, you would need Chelsea to win to start turning a profit, and if you sold, you would need Forest to win. If you bought, a one-goal victory for Chelsea would win you 0.05 times your stake, a two-goal victory 1.05 times your stake, and so on.
However, if you bought and Chelsea lost or drew, you would lose money. Here, a one-goal loss would cost you 1.95 times your stake, a two-goal loss 2.95 times your stake, etc.
You can also bet on the total number of goals scored during the game with our Total Goals market. This is currently set at 2.95-3.15. If you’re expecting plenty of goalmouth action, you would “buy” and would need at least four total goals to turn a profit. Alternatively, if you expect a low-scoring affair, you could “sell” and would need two goals or fewer to turn a profit.
If you sold and the game ended 1-0, you would win 1.95 times your stake. However, if you sold and the game ended 4-2, you would lose 3.05 times your stake. It’s important to remember that when spread betting, if your bet loses, you can lose multiples of your stake, so be sure to choose appropriate stake sizes for each market.
