Leeds’ defeat against Manchester City back in November was where things began to fall into place for the West Yorkshire side, with Daniel Farke’s change in system seeing the club go on a run of just two defeats in 15 matches across all competitions.
Their most recent outing was a 1-1 draw against Aston Villa, which is a good point on paper, but with the Whites shipping a late equaliser, they will have been disappointed to return from the Midlands with all three points.
They face the daunting task of Manchester City this weekend, but a night game at Elland Road can be a tricky prospect for even the most polished of sides. Gabriel Gudmundsson suffered an illness last week which saw his minutes limit. The left wing back is a crucial attacking outlet for Leeds and their chances of a positive will be improved if the Swede is able to take to the field. Aside from that, the Peacocks remain relatively injury free, with only Noah Okafor on the treatment table at the minute.
LEEDS RECENT FORM
DRAW: Aston Villa 1-1 Leeds. Saturday 21st February 2026.WIN: Birmingham City 1-1 Leeds (AET – Leeds won on penalties). Sunday 15th February 2026.DRAW: Chelsea 2-2 Leeds. Tuesday 10th February 2026.
As for Manchester City, they are entering the stage of the season where they come alive. Pep Guardiola’s side have been relentless towards the back end of previous campaigns and there is a narrative developing that they will be able to overhaul a wobbling Arsenal at the top of the table.
City and Arsenal – having seen off a brief challenge from Aston Villa – are the two undisputed frontrunners and if the former are to make good on their odds of 7/4 for the title, they will need to collect three points at Elland Road on Saturday.
The good news for City fans is that they have won five matches on the spin against their West Yorkshire hosts since a Stuart Dallas-inspired Leeds side won 2-1 in a smash-and-grab win at the Etihad during lockdown. A win on Saturday would take them to within a point of Arsenal ahead of the Gunners clash with Chelsea on Sunday.

As expected, City are the favourites ahead of this one and they are 4/7 to continue their good record against Leeds and collect all three points, with the Cityzens available to back at 8/15 on our 2 Up market.
Leeds – already out to 14/1 in our relegation odds – could take a massive leap towards safety with a win on Saturday at 4/1, and we can’t imagine many in LS11 turning their nose up at a draw with can be backed at 7/2.
In the player markets, Erling Haaland is 4/6 to score against his boyhood club and the Norwegian international is 13/5 to open the scoring. Antoine Semenyo is 11/2 to score first on Saturday, with Phil Foden – who struck the winner against Leeds back in November – 2/1 to score and break white hearts again.
Leeds’ main threat going forwards is Dominic Calvert-Lewin who is 17/10 to hit the back of the and marauding midfielder Anton Stach is 6/1 to do the same.

In the spread betting markets, there is one market which stands out, and that is the Last Match Goal market. United have one of the worst records in the league for goals conceded in the latter stages of matches and they have dropped plenty of points because of it.
Foden’s winner back in November came in the 91st minute, with Newcastle and Fulham also securing three points against the Whites past the 90 minute mark. Aston Villa equalised in the 88th minute last weekend, with Bournemouth waiting until the 93rd minute to rescue a point earlier in the season.
With this in mind, you can buy or sell the minute of the Last Match Goal at 67-70. Remember, if you think the last match goal will come after the 70th minute, you would place a buy trade.

We have multiple price boosts live ahead of kick-off and Dominic Calvert-Lewin is at the heart of two of them. The former Everton man is 14/5 from 12/5 to have two or more shots on target, whilst the same selection, coupled with two or more shots on target from Erling Haaland has been boosted from 9/2 to 5/1.
Brenden Aaronson has four league goals to his name this season and the diminutive American is 9/2 from 15/4 to score this weekend, with Antoine Semenyo pushed from 10/3 to 15/4 to grab an assist.
