Leeds and Crystal Palace played out another 0-0 draw at the weekend in what was an instantly forgettable game. Pierre Sage's side move onto four points, whilst Daniel Farke's side head into the international break unbeaten in the league and with the joint-meanest defence in the top flight. Leeds host Crystal Palace in a fixture which holds painful memories for Leeds fans. Back in 2023, Palace came back from 1-0 down to beat Leeds 5-1 in a result that sent the Whites into a tailspin which would ultimately end in their relegation. Last season, Leeds exacted revenge as they beat the Londoners 4-1 in West Yorkshire and Daniel Farke will be hoping for a similar result as his side look to continue their unbeaten start to the Premier League season.
Newcastle were despatched on Monday night in LS11 and a brace from Dominic Calvert-Lewin helped the former Everton man earn a recall to the England squad where he will be joined by team mate James Trafford. Star full-backs, key to the way Leeds play, Gabi Gudmundsson and Jayden Bogle were withdrawn in that clash against Newcastle, but both are expected to feature on Sunday.
Palace’s only league points this season came in a 3-2 win over fellow Londoners Fulham, but they did put four past Lech Poznan in the Europa League and the Eagles will hope to soar again this weekend. In the absence of Jean Philippe-Mateta, Jorgen Strand Larsen, who was the subject of a £40m bid from Leeds in January, will lead the line. Ismaila Sarr may be fit enough to play some part which would be a huge boost for Pierre Sage.

After impressing on Monday night, Leeds are set to go off odds-on for the first time this season, with our traders making them a 3/4 shot to record another home win. Palace are 7/2 to avenge last year’s shellacking, and the draw can be backed at 14/5.
Both sides have scored in three of Leeds’ four league matches this season and it is the same record for Crystal Palace. As such, both teams to score can be backed at 4/6, with a Leeds win and both teams to score available to back at 23/10.
In the goalscorer markets, Calvert-Lewin is 7/2 to score first and even money to score anytime in a fixture he notched a brace in last season. Strand Larsen has been boosted from 19/20 to 11/5 in the anytime market for Palace, with Spanish winger Yeremy Pino a 4/1 poke.
