Our spread betting Total Goals line is 3.2–3.4. This means a 3.4 ‘buy’ bet would need at least four goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Conversely, a 3.2 ‘sell’ bet would need three goals or fewer to be scored in the match to turn a profit (four goals would result in a small loss of 0.8× your stake).

Remember that with spread betting, if you get the bet wrong, losses can exceed your stake/deposit. For example, a 3.4 ‘buy’ Total Goals bet would lose 3.4× your stake if the match ended 0–0. In the 0.85 ‘buy’ Supremacy bet example above, if the game ended a draw, the bet would lose 0.85× your stake.
