Spreadex Sports previews the upcoming 2025/26 Premier League fixture between Man Utd and Wolves. The Red Devils returned to winning ways last time out to boost their top-four hopes, and will look to round out the calendar year with three more points.
Wolves, meanwhile, may well be doomed to relegation this season as they sit a massive 16 points from safety, but can the away side claim some pride and repeat their April victory at Old Trafford and claim their first league win of the season at the very end of the year?
When is Man Utd v Wolves? Tuesday, December 30th 2025.
What time is kick-off for Man Utd v Wolves?8.15pm, UK time.
Where is Man Utd v Wolves being played? Old Trafford, Manchester.
How can I watch Man Utd v Wolves? Live on Sky Sports from 8.15pm.
The home side should come into this one with renewed confidence after an important win and clean sheet against Newcastle last time out, and they face a side that they comfortably defeated 4-1 on the road earlier this month.
Wolves, meanwhile, are in dire form and look devoid of inspiration but have shown some resilience of late in hard fought 2-1 defeats at Anfield and the Emirates against Liverpool and Arsenal, at least finding the net in those outings.
WIN: Man Utd 1-0 Newcastle. 26th December 2025.LOSS: Aston Villa 2-1 Man Utd. 21st December 2025.DRAW: Man Utd 4-4 Bournemouth. 15th December 2025.
LOSS: Liverpool 2-1 Wolves. 27th December 2025.LOSS: Wolves 0-2 Brentford. 20th December 2025. LOSS: Arsenal 2-1 Wolves. 13th December 2025.

The Spreadex Sports fixed odds Match Odds betting prices have Man Utd as strong 4/11 favourites to secure a victory while our 2 Up early pay out market, which pays out when a team goes two goals up, has the Red Devils at 1/3.
Wolves meanwhile are available at 7/1 for the away victory (6/1 on our 2 Up market), with the draw at 17/4.
Although Wolves admirably did the double over Utd last season, that has been the exception rather than the rule in the H2H form. Of the last ten meetings, Man Utd have won seven with Wolves winning three and no draws.
With only three of those last ten meetings seeing Both Teams Scoring, you can back Both to Score - No at Evens here.
Our football spread betting prices have the Goal Supremacy as Man Utd/Wolves 1.4 - 1.6. This means if Utd won 4-1 (or by any other three goal margin), a 'buy' bet at 1.6 would mean a return of 1.4x your initial stake.
However, if you bought at 1.6 in Utd's favour and the match ended goalless, you would lose 1.6x your stake. Or, if Wolves were to grab a 1-0 (or any other one goal margin) win, the market would settle negatively at -1 and a buy at 1.6 would result in a loss of 2.6x your opening stake.
You can calculate various make-ups by using our handy spread betting calculator, found here.
Our spread betting Total Goals line is 3.1 - 3.3. So a 3.3 'buy' bet would need at least four goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Conversely, a 3.1 sell bet would need less than three goals to be scored in the match to turn a profit.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. E.g. a 3.3 'buy' Total Goals bet would lose 3.3x your opening stake if the match ended 0-0, and so on.
The last meeting of these sides at Old Trafford ended in a 0-1 win for Wolves - you can back a repeat of that scoreline here at odds of 18/1. Or, if you fancy a repeat of Utd's 4-1 win earlier this month, that result is available at 16/1.
We have several pre-built Popular Bet-Builders, including Matheus Cunha to score anytime & Joao Gomes to be carded - 9/2, Matheus Cunha 2+ shots on target & Jorgen Strand Larsen 2+ shots on target - 8/1, Over 4.5 goals, Over 11.5 corners & Over 4.5 cards - 28/1 and much more!
Price Boosts for this one are live, and include Mason Mount to Score Anytime - NOW 21/10, Matheus Cunha 1+ Assists - NOW 12/5, Benjamin Sesko 2+ Shots on Target - NOW 29/20 and more!
