NEWCASTLE V QARABAG BETTING FORM

Newcastle come into this tie with a five-goal cushion after winning the first leg 6-1 away from home. Despite a disappointing loss at the weekend to Manchester City in the Premier League, the Magpies will be full of confidence for tonight's clash. With a packed fixture list, Eddie Howe may choose to rotate his team somewhat given the lead they head into the second leg with.

Newcastle League Form
LOSS: Man City 2-1 Newcastle, 21 February 2026
WIN: Tottenham 1-2 Newcastle, 10 February 2026
LOSS: Newcastle 2-3 Brentford, 7 February 2026

Qarabag have already exceeded expectations by qualifying for the knock-out phase of the Champions League, but with a five-goal deficit in the current tie, their journey looks to be over. The Azerbaijani champions have had some incredible results in this year’s tournament, including wins over Benfica and Frankfurt, but they will need to win by at least five goals, away from home if they are to progress any further.

Qarabag League Form
WIN: Mil-Mugan 0-1 Qarabag, 14 February 2026
WIN: Shamakhi 1-2 Qarabag, 10 February 2026
WIN: Qarabag 1-0 Turan, 1 February 2026

NEWCASTLE V QARABAG SPREAD BETTING PRICES

Spreadex also has a number of spread betting markets for tonight's clash. Our “Goal Supremacy” market has Newcastle favoured by 2.5-2.7 goals. This means if you expect Newcastle to win by at least three goals, you would “buy” and if you expect either a draw, a Qarabag win, or a Newcastle win by two goals or fewer you would “sell”.

Our popular “Total Goals” market is currently set at 3.9-4.1. This is for the total number of goals scored in the match by both teams. If you’re expecting a high-scoring game, you can “buy” on this market. You would then need at least five goals in the game to turn a profit, with this winning 0.9x your stake, a six-goal game winning 1.9x your stake, and so on. However, if there were three goals or fewer in the match, you would lose money, with a goalless draw losing you 4.1x your stake.

If you expect a lower-scoring affair, you would “sell”. In this case, you would need fewer than three goals to turn a profit. A 0-0 draw would win you 3.9 times your stake if you sold, but if the game finished 6-1 as it did in the first leg, you would lose 4.1 times your stake.
