How can I watch Real Madrid v Benfica? Live on TNT Sports 1 from 7pm.
These two teams have generated plenty of drama in recent weeks. In the final match of the Champions League league phase, Benfica goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin scored a dramatic last-minute winner to send the Portuguese side into the play-off round, while Real Madrid narrowly missed out on a place in the top eight. As fate would have it, the draw paired them together in the play-offs, with the first leg finishing 1–0 to Real Madrid last week.
Although there were few goals to celebrate, the match made headlines around the football world for the wrong reasons. Benfica winger Gianluca Prestianni was alleged to have made a racist comment toward Vinícius Jr. He has since been provisionally suspended by UEFA and will miss the second leg while the matter is investigated further.
With tensions running high and bad blood between the players, the return leg promises to be a fiery encounter, another chapter in what has quickly become a fiercely dramatic rivalry.

Real Madrid are the favourites and are priced at 4/9 to get the win on Spreadex’s fixed odds market (2/5 on our 2 Up early payout Match Odds market) whilst Benfica are priced at 5/1 to get the victory (9/2 on our 2 Up early payout Match Odds market) and the draw priced at 15/4.
Real Madrid won the first leg 1-0 at Benfica and you can get a repeat of that scoreline priced at 9/1. Alternatively, you can get Real Madrid To Win To Nil priced at 15/8.
Our football spread betting prices have Real Madrid as the favourites with a Goal Supremacy quote of Real Madrid/Benfica 1.2 – 1.4. This means a 'buy' bet at 1.4 would need a Real Madrid two goal win to start turning a profit (e.g. two goal win would win 0.6x your stake, three goal win would win 1.6x your stake etc.).
A 1.2 'sell' bet would need a one goal Real Madrid win, draw or Benfica win to turn a profit (e.g. Real Madrid one goal win would win 0.2x your stake, a draw would win 1.2x your stake and a Benfica one goal win would win 2.2x your stake etc.).
Our spread betting Total Goals line is 3.3 – 3.5. So a 3.5 'buy' bet would need at least four goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Conversely, a ‘3.3’ sell bet would need three goals or less to be scored in the match to turn a profit.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. E.g. a 3.5 'buy' Total Goals bet would lose 3.5x your stake if the match ended 0-0. In the 1.4 'buy' Supremacy bet example above, if the game ended in a one goal Real Madrid win you would lose 0.4x your stake, a draw you would lose 1.4x your stake and if the game ended in a Benfica one goal win then it would lose 2.4x your stake etc. And in the 1.2 'sell' Supremacy example above, the bet would lose 0.8x your stake on a two-goal Real Madrid win and 1.8x your stake on a three goal Real Madrid win etc.
Price Boosts are typically available on the Spreadex website the day before the game, so it’s worth checking back closer to kick-off for enhanced odds. In addition, Spreadex also features ‘Popular Bet-Builders’, specially curated by their in-house pricing team to highlight fan-favourite betting combinations.
In the first leg Vinicus Jr scored the only goal of the game in the 50th minute. For the second leg the Vincius Jr Total Goal Minutes spread betting market has a spread of 19 – 22. A repeat of his first leg Total Goal Minutes would win 28x your stake if you were to buy at 22.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. So for example if the Vinicus Jr failed to score in the match, a ‘buy’ at 22 would lose 22x times your stake.
Spreadex offers a wide range of football spread betting prices on Real Madrid v Benfica, as well as traditional sportsbook/fixed odds prices.
