Live on ITV1.
Switzerland will be feeling confident after bouncing back from a disappointing start against Qatar with a strong outing against Bosnia & Herzegovina in their last match. The Swiss ended up coasting to a 4-1 victory with all four goals coming in the final 25 minutes. Now they face group leaders Canada who will have home advantage on their side. Can Switzerland rise to the occasion and win Group B?
SWITZERLAND FORM

Canada fans will also be expecting their team to claim all three points and win the group after a dominant display against Qatar in the previous round of fixtures. The hosts were 3-0 up at half-time and would go on to win 6-0, with their opponents down to nine men for much of the game. Ismael Kone’s tournament-ending injury will certainly have tempered Canadian celebrations, but they will be hoping to return to top form without him. Can the hosts qualify for the knockouts this Wednesday?

Hosts Canada are underdogs despite their impressive 6-0 win last time they took the field at BC Place Vancouver. You can back them to win at 23/10, or at 21/10 in our 2 Up market. If you expect a stalemate, you can back the draw at 9/5.

We also offer a number of spread betting markets for Wednesday’s match, including our Goal Supremacy market. This market currently has Switzerland favoured by 0.1-0.3 goals. This means that if you placed a “buy” bet, you would need Switzerland to win by to start turning a profit. A one-goal victory for Switzerland would win you 0.7 times your stake, a two-goal win 1.7 times your stake, and so on.
However, if you bought and Switzerland drew or lost, you would lose money. Here, a one-goal loss for Switzerland would cost you 1.3 times your stake, whilst a draw would cost you 0.3 times your stake.
You can also bet on the total number of goals scored during the game with our Total Goals market. This is currently set at 2.45-2.65. If you’re expecting a high-scoring game, you would “buy” and would need at least three total goals to turn a profit. Alternatively, if you expect a low-scoring affair, you could “sell” and would need two goals or fewer to turn a profit.
If you sold and the game ended 1-0, you would win 1.45 times your stake. However, if you sold and the game ended 4-2, you would lose 3.55 times your stake. It’s important to remember that when spread betting, if your bet loses, you can lose multiples of your stake, so be sure to choose appropriate stake sizes for each market.
