However, they now face their toughest test yet, a Colombian side that has only conceded once at the tournament so far. How will Switzerland get on in this one?

This game is expected to be a close-run affair, with both sides currently at similar odds to progress. Switzerland are the slight underdogs, at 5/4 to go through and 5/2 to win in 90 minutes. You can also back them at 23/10 in our 2 Up market which pays out if your team goes up by two goals.
Colombia will head to Vancouver as favourites at 8/13 to qualify or at 13/10 to win in normal time. You can back them at 5/4 in our 2 Up market or you can back a draw at 2/1 if you expect the match to require extra time.

We also offer a number of spread betting markets for tonight’s match, including our Goal Supremacy market. This market currently has Colombia favoured by 0.2-0.4 goals. This means that if you placed a “buy” bet, you would need Colombia to win to start turning a profit. A one-goal victory for Colombia would win you 0.6 times your stake, a two-goal win 1.6 times your stake, and so on.
However, if you bought and Colombia drew or lost, you would lose money. Here, a one-goal loss for Colombia would cost you 1.4 times your stake, whilst a draw would cost you 0.4 times your stake.
You can also bet on the total number of goals scored during the game with our Total Goals market. This is currently set at 2.25-2.45. If you’re expecting a high-scoring game, you would “buy” and would need at least three goals to turn a profit. Alternatively, if you expect a low-scoring affair, you could “sell” and would need two goals or fewer to turn a profit.
If you sold and the game ended 1-0, you would win 1.25 times your stake. However, if you sold and the game ended 4-2, you would lose 3.75 times your stake. It’s important to remember that when spread betting, if your bet loses, you can lose multiples of your stake, so be sure to choose appropriate stake sizes for each market.
