The UEFA European Championship, more commonly referred to as the Euros, is an international football tournament held every four years to determine a continental champion. Originally founded in 1958, the tournament has been won by 10 different European nations. The most recent tournament was held in 2024 in Germany, Spain were victorious, defeating England 2-1 in the final. The win was the fourth in Spain’s history, a record in the competition.
The next edition of the Euros will be Euro 2028, it will be co-hosted by England, Scotland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland.
